Here we go again. Another major missed opportunity. Obviously I have not used the new pinnacle sniper but from what I can see, I am very VERY disappointed. Recently and also not so recently we have seen content creators make videos about how supers are a little too strong in the crucible right now, to which I would have to agree. Now this post could be totally useless when the new sandbox changes come to the game but I would like to make this post to possibly give a bit of advice as to how we could possibly better the destiny universe in the off chance that anyone from Bungie reads this. Something that Destiny is currently lacking are reliable ways of defeating supers that don't include heavy. I am a sniper main on Destiny and I thought this sniper was going to be the end all be all best sniper that I would every lay my hands on, but then I read the "special" perk: "Missed shot are returned to the magazine after a short duration." Really? A sniper that promotes bad accuracy? I and i'm sure plenty of other people expected a sniper that would be helping them go on a tear in the crucible but this is sadly not the case. I personally would have liked to see a sniper that rewarded accuracy and ONLY accuracy. I had been talking to a friend about the possibly perks that we could have seen on this sniper and I told him wait what if this sniper was the highest impact we have ever seen with the lowest fire rate on any sniper but did monstrous damage to the head in crucible that could even one shot supers and just so it's not too over powered if you hit someone in the body you do the damage of the lowest archetype of sniper. That was what I truly wanted, a gun that would fully allow me to have my hero moments once again in the crucible. I never expected Bungie of all to make a PRECISION weapon that rewarded INACCURACY. I hope to see in the patch notes a sniper that will once again allow me to one shot to the head supers in the crucible that are not in the heavy slot. I don't want the crucible to fall back into the hole of slow ttk. But for now all I can do is hope.

2 Respostas
Another missed opportunity.
I see what you did there. You sly fox. The perk on it made me think of Ice Breaker. Yes, I know the difference between the two.

3 RespostasIt looks like it has an ambush scope on it. That would be a reason to use it over other snipers anyway. Also the 6-man activity has a sniper with the same model as LDR. Shortgaze maybe possibly

3 RespostasDidn’t we say the same thing about recluse?

1 ResponderI'll wait to make a review after the gun comes out and i get a chance to earn and shoot it.

1 ResponderAs I see it, Pinnacle weapons are supposed to make the weapon you use, easier for you. Redrix & Breakneck, buffs RoF and keeps lethality. Luna/NF, it buffed precision damage, has the recoil of a laser, good range on any map and had the best RPM per damage out of any other primary in the game. Recluse, kills with any weapon improves it's damage. Kill Clip w/o using the weapon. Mountaintop, straight projectile. No bounce, no guessing. Loaded Question & Oxygen, bigger booms. Gambit bow? Basically a Last Word in bow form. (I'm actually really interested in this bow since I use them all the time.) Windego, Masterwork it. Use 1 shot on ads, pick up orb then go to town on bosses. and I've been messing around with the idea of using 2 Special weapons using this Sniper.

1 ResponderEditado por DHawk12: 5/30/2019 12:34:20 AMI would have liked a kinetic adaptive sniper with 35 zoom, rapid fire tier aim assist/handling and the special perk to be master of arms 2.0 (a kill with any weapon to allow a single body shot kill). Edit: Or kill clip x2 activated by crit kills

3 RespostasBut even the best snipers miss or get flinched off target, that being said though I only hope that it’s archetype is either adaptive or high impact due to those being my preferred archetypes and having enough damage potential behind them so if I land a headshot on a super I should be able to clean it up
