My absolute favourite is when the opponent is trapped in the super so super to get out of it....
it's so rewarding lol.
This only happens on striker or blade barrage that I've seen, also spectral blade at the point of invisibility can avoid detection of the tether during latency.
Tether disorienting needs to persist as long as the suppressor grenade in my opinion.

I've definitely encountered that as well. The disorienting hardly works at all. I've had times where I shoot it at a Guardian, I'm half health by the time I hit the ground, and he's able to reorient himself and get the last two shots he needs before I can kill them (they're usually at a sliver). This could be due to their skill level and knowing exactly what's going to happen to their site, but it still feels like this happens way more often than it should. I almost feel like there should be a few more immunity frames when casting the super?

The biggest problem that shadow shot faces is that game latency is so high for the "quote on quote" good players that even if the opponent should have been detected/effected their not, simply due to connections. I'm no genius but I don't no how we went from D1 tether too D2 tether so badly when all other supers feel so good.

I thought the same thing till I got better at landing my shots directly (and by better, maybe 50% of the time lol). In those instances, it is instant. I feel like that is how it should be regardless of you hitting your target. I mean, it is a super after all, and a smoke grenade applies instantly, so why not the super?
