So anyone noticed the Jotun tracking now basically doesn't work as well with this new update? Was this planned or is it just me?
Edit: After further testing and reviewing old video of Jotuun yes it has been stealth nerfed. The tracking was way more aggressive before the 2.2.0 patch and now its tracking is minimal at best to the point you can simply hunter dodge to the side or step forward diagonally or jump straight up and a shot will miss you. It's take some actual leading of a shot now to get a kill.

I've noticed that everything I use that has any tracking at all (Jotun, Celestial Fire, Nova Bomb, Scatter Grenades, Skyburner's Oath) have completely stopped tracking in PVP. But I can still be tracked aggressively. An opposing Nova Bomb will turn around 90 degree bends to get me. It's fun.

This gun still needs to just be removed from the game. Its not fun to use and its not fun to play against.
-
2 RespostasGood it needs to be taken out of then game it's such a broken gun

Just googled this after playing a few games of Gambit. Jotunn got me through the Malfeasance quest, and it feels like sh*t now. I thought maybe I was just having some bad games, but the difference has been pretty striking. It's a damn shame; there are plenty of weapons as or more OP in their respective portions of the game, I wish they'd just leave exotics that don't deserve a nerf alone.
-
I have noticed that the tracking is off. This was one of my favorite weapons and now it misses more than half the time to the point that its basically not worth it anymore to use.
-
1 ResponderI felt it before this update. I wish I had saved some before footage to do a side by side because it definitely has felt off for some time.
-
3 RespostasI was saying this the other day to my gf. But my dawnblade was also just missing everything too so I thought it was me lol probably is though

13 Respostasboth Jotum & Telesto should be Heavy weapons

5 RespostasEditado por millienand1: 7/29/2019 11:29:32 PMSorry I didn’t read the post. You are correct
-
Editado por Jericho_Wolf99: 3/12/2019 8:06:07 AMIt's brought in line with tracking for a rocket launcher. If your enemy moves slow it will hit. They move to fast tracking stops. Might be one of those fps things or something along that line. If your up close you will hit your shots. Also telesto needs to be put in the heavy slot where it belongs along with shotguns, fusion rifles, and sniper rifles so that can help balance the game alittle more.
-
I wish that BUNGASS would STOP nerfing everything, what's the point of playing if they keep adjusting weapons.
-
It's working as intended
-
Noob cannon not spamming correctly... it must not be aimed at me.
-
Tracking in this game as a whole feels off
-
I would know because RNG SUCKs as bad as the update. Just saying.
-
3 RespostasI would probably never notice. 1, I'm not playing the game currently, and when I did, didnt use Jotuun that much, and 2, tracking has been screwed in D2 for a while anyway. Well, rockets got screwed anyway.
-
4 RespostasBuddy, quiet down, end this, and move along. Nothing to see here. If you can't dominate with it as is, you need to train. This means run everything with your pvp loadout. Until you know what the limits are.
-
3 RespostasEditado por zekuel: 3/12/2019 12:18:20 AMMaybe because linear fusions aim assist got nerfed. I know this not a linear fusion but it behaves more like one than a regular fusion.

1 ResponderNo you could always dodge a far away shot
-
1 ResponderLast night I swear it took a 45 degree right turn and hit the tank.
-
2 RespostasJotunn is a miniaturized solar nova bomb and nobody can deny it
-
2 Respostasjotun is the new telesto
-
As annoying as it can be, if you have situational awareness and good reflex it isn't all that hard to dodge.
-
Now that the gun has been out for a while, people are finally learning how to counter it. The gun didn't really have much tracking anyways, only felt good due to people still learning to counter it.
-
Haven't noticed anything, almost feels better than before
-
OR...maybe people are learning to move to the side? No? ok....
