It’s why it spoke to him personally. 3) No, as it’s implied to operation went wrong somewhat. The aim was only to take Oryx’s power in order to allow Mara to take a seat at the cosmic chessboard on our behalf, but the throne itself is occupied by the Witch-Queen Savathûn. 4) The Hive all originate from the same species, but time apart has caused them to evolve differently. As well as this, Titan makes it clear that Savathûn has been experimenting with both the Hive and their Worms. 5) Nokris went behind Oryx’s back and gained Necromancy from Xol. Considering the Sword Logic, he was branded a heretic and every trace of him except a statue on the Dreadnaught was erased. 6) It’s implied the Vex cannot truly time travel, or that they cannot disrupt current events. Not only this, their primary goal is to become indistinguishable from the laws of reality, not destroying the city. 7) Well it is awake now, we don’t know how much energy it spent destroying Ghaul. But seeing as the Darkness is coming and the Travelers vision shows the pyramid ships I would hazard to say its waiting. 8) No. It is suggested that every ghost has one guardian that they are fated to have. The exception to this would be Jaren Ward’s ghost with Shin Malphur, but Shin Malphur was also resurrected as a child by a ghost and the ghost was destroyed not long after.

He made tablets out of its body giving him the power to create taken. 3: I don’t think so, but she does have her own Throne World that was willed into existence by Riven. 4: There are three broods, Xivu Arath, Savathûn , and Oryx. I think Oryx’s Brood died off or went into hiding, but all of the Dreaming City Hive are Xivu and Savathûn’s. 5: Hive consider death sacred and he dabbled in resurrection so the Hive labeled him a heritic. Afterwards Xol asked him what he wanted and he said Mars. 6: They can simulate to figure out what to do but they cannot simulate Light so they pretty lost here. They cannot Time travel but they can cross dimensions and realities. 7. Yes, it has given us visions, Trees on Io and Ikora has reported them too. 8: I think not but I do think the Ghosts can choose a new living owner.

Maybe I missed some more recent lore. But the Vex are trying to come out on top in [b]every[/b] timeline. That’s literally infinite. They want to create outcomes to where they will always be above all else. How could they just focus on one measly reality like ours? They are testing everything to find the right equations. [quote]7. Now that it’s awake, we don’t know what it’s doing. [quote]8. We don’t know the specifics on how Ghosts and the making of Guardians works. Ghosts can make anyone with Light a Guardian (this was proved in Cayde’s Stash and Ghost Stories), and a Ghost whose Guardian permanently died can make a new Guardian (Shin Malfur). A Guardian permanently dying involves specific situations like having their Light drained or being stuck in a Vex time loop. But we don’t know if Ghosts can heal other Guardians, or if they can become the Ghost for a Guardian whose Ghost died/was separated from them, or if a Ghost with a Guardian can make another Guardian. I don’t know if Cayde was permanently killed. His Ghost is dead. He might still be revivable, if that’s how it works.

Hopefully this answered your questions. I didn’t go off of any theories, because they might be wrong, and I used all the knowledge I had about all this.

At the time she got there, his Throne World was already crumbling and she barely escaped. 4. Its the same species (maybe with a difference here and there - the Hive breed a lot). 5. Nokris performed necromancy, which is against the Sword Logic. (FYI, the Sword Logic is similar to the Darwinism, but more hardcore) 6. The Vex can't time travel, that I know for sure, but I can't honestly say how they manage to bring to the present Vexes from different timelines (maybe it's all a simulation?) 7. Yes. We "freed" his shard and destroyed the Heart of the Black Garden on D1 original campaign, which started the healing process of the Traveler 8. We can't say for sure. We have never actually saw something like that happen, so we presume that it's not possible.
