Just curious what people think is the greatest gaming community. Asking for a friend, of course.

2 RespostasEither Elite Dangerous (PS4) or Tera (PS4) I’ve heard Tera can be toxic for noobs, and while I wasn’t the highest level, I was good at pvp and was known there, so the PvE players were nice to me since I wasn’t a griefer or toxic to them in the BGs Elite Dangerous though everyone was either too nice or anti social, people always wanted to wing up, and random people would “o7” when you flew by (o7 is a salute for those who aren’t familiar) I started griefing because there was none. Usually interdicting ships (interdicting means pulling out of supercruise, making it so you can fight them or interact other than chatting) and asking for 1 ton of cargo (if it was a big ship), little ships would have to tell me a joke... if they didn’t talk, they usually died, but people who cooperated got escorts and I even joined a few bounty hunting so they could get money Even after like a year I randomly logged on and attacked a wanted player, once my shields dropped they said gg and sent a smiley face... I was flying a federal corvette with over a mil in bounties (multiple systems) on my head too The only “toxic” player I encountered (other than me) was interdicting players and blowing them up, so I played bait knowing he would get me, and he did. So I attack him and he ran. I chased him right into his minefield After that my shields dropped and I panicked and ran. Fixed my ship, returned and had a chat with him. Turns out he was just trying to test out his ship and the mines. Wasn’t griefing, but player killing ships are different from NPCs, so there’s only one way to test lol We became buddies, picked up the dude he blew up, and did bounties for an hour and made bank Elite Dangerous is just great

2 RespostasMonster Hunter’s is really good, Minecraft was, and TF2 was good, in my opinion. As for the opposite? Undertale is probably the worst (But the game is amazing nonetheless) followed by Fortnite, Sonic, and these FNAF fanboys.
Praise Calus!
1 ResponderOverwatch. Only second to league of legends.

1 ResponderThe Elder Scrolls Online gaming community. I f you ever head to their forums, filled with tons of people willing to help, give advice, etc... My experience in that game and on their forums has been great. Really, a LOT of people that actually want to help, give really good advice and show you/tell you how to better your builds/gameplay.

Journey. You have no idea who the other person is, yet you can still work together.
-
Usually the games that only have co-op for online play. If there is no PvP for people to measure dicks, then there is no reason for people to be toxic toward one another.

I've been playing monster Hunter world, and so far the community has been really helpful. Most people know when to back off and heal and there's a lot of support players out there, I've enjoyed the game much more since I've been playing with others. Although I do get kinda pissed when I fight a fairly easy monster and everyone wipes so I get absolutely nothing from the quest. But it happens.

Any singleplayer game.

Halo Reach Custom Games...
never forget
Portal/Portal 2. Very cooperative, especially towards speedrunning.

9 RespostasElite Dangerous. By and large they are super helpful whenever someone asks for help or advice. Theres the usual friction between PvP and PvE players, but lets be honest anyone heading into a game where you can blow each other up should know the risks 😁

Star Wars the old Republic community (except some few arses)

The FGC are an alright bunch.

I don't really check out the communities for the games I play unless they are like the only game I play at the time. That being said, Summoners War (mobile gacha game) has a pretty good community. I've literally never seen a git gud post or anything like that on any of the discords I have joined

1 ResponderWarframe's is pretty good.

2 RespostasNot a gaming community but the old Community Forum here was full of great people.

Hard to say really. There are some such as the Warframe and Saints Row community that seem nice on the surface, however if you did a little deeper you get a very different story.
