I've seen significantly worst FPS in after the recent update today. Happening everywhere; tried deleting cvars, and all the usual fixes but nothing has helped. I'm presuming this is a problem with the game as I was on earlier today before the update and everything was fine.
CPU: i5 8600k @ 4.9GHz

(Driver version is 417.22, tried rolling it back with a clean install but this doesn't have any effect)

10 RespostasHi. Thanks for your report. You may want to perform a scan and repair in the Battle.net app to see if that may help with your issue. If that doesn't work, delete the following local cache/settings directories:

– %APPDATA%\Bungie\DestinyPC
More information:
*WARNING* Deleting these will cause you to lose persisted settings, such as logged in users, keybinds and graphics settings in Destiny, etc. The directory names above are actual paths that can be used in Windows Explorer. For example, if you enter "%PROGRAMDATA%" in the Windows Explorer address bar, it will automatically take you to C:\ProgramData (default), which is a hidden directory.

You might want to remove your CVARS.xml file to see if anything changes. You may want to turn on VSYNC if it's turned off. You may also want to cap your framerate.
