Festival of the Lost Weapons
Just wondering if I am the only one out there disappointed by the design of horror story? I mean its literally just a repaint of Origin Story. I was really hoping to get some rad unique weapons to play with for FotL.

I like it. Autos arent in a great place right now, but if they get a small buff, it will be godly. The Zen Moment makes it a laser beam.

Agree. For a 600 weapon, for me it’s lackluster.

I'm not disappointed, could be a sign that I've just grown accustomed to having re-skins thrown at me though, which doesn't say too much about the bar of expectations I've been set. I'm actually happy that it comes at 600 PL fully masterworked, certainly has helped the power grind a lot. I just got mine last night and completed a couple of powerful engram stuff after that and had the single biggest power level raise in a night I have had since hitting the soft cap. So in that regard it's been pretty good for a scrub like me that hasn't had time to complete all the powerful engrams and raid each week.

It's a year 2 Origin Story, which is awesome. And the roll is awesome. And it's pre masterworked and at 600 power. Took me only 1 day to get. Had fun in the spoopy forest and got a cool gun. :)

They make no illusions that it isn't Origin Story. But unlike Origin Story you can use mods on it.

I think it is a solid, fun gun. Sure it is just a year 2 origin story, but people liked that gun! With the ability to put mods in it, I used a raid taken damage mod. The thing was a blast to use in the shattered throne.

It would be nice to get a origin story with some enemy stuff like a taken patch or vex robotics to make it seem more spooky but the perks are good so....

Wasn’t that the point though? I swear I read that Bungie calling it the horror story, and it’s an obvious reskin of origin story, they were just being cheeky with the whole thing. Maybe I made that up? But I swear I read it or heard it somewhere.

17 RespostasIt still brings up your light level so I don't know why anyone who is below 600 is complaining. I went from 575 to 592 by getting horror story first and then doing milestones.
