You probably guessed it.
Progression based microtransactions...yay.
We literally just went through this with EA and BF2. With recent PR blow ups over their shady loot box tactics, bare bones DLC, content lockouts and now this; I sincerely hope that there is no more doubt who Bungie really is. This isn't some benevolent group of video game makers that care about their players, they are after your money and are willing to sink to new depths to get it. Now we see what the progression based microtransaction patents Activision filed were for. Walk away while you still can.

3 RespostasGood luck to the remaining die-hard fans still playing destiny. Because bungie is going to MILK THE SHIT out of the rest of you.

3 RespostasThink twice before spending money on a Activi$on/EA/Bli$$ard/Ubi$oft game again.

22 RespostasEditado por TheShadow-cali: 12/10/2017 7:21:01 PMYeah, The new Bungie is coming out. Lets keep crapping on our player base even after we been caught pulling cheap moves as it is. Hell yeah Bungie! show how much you "care about your player base and listen to them"
LoL
12 RespostasLoot boxs are the equivalent to gambling. They are going to make it so you have to be 21 to play games with them. Watch.

4 RespostasI guessed. Correctly. #Cancer to Bungivision.

1 ResponderThere is no denying that Bungie and Destiny 2 are in trouble. The player base on PC followed that on consoles and hemorrhaged almost instantly after release. Then you had the XP throttling fiasco where Bungie implemented an insidious system to encourage people to buy Engrams. Now we have a 'DLC' which is more like a minor patch that also locks people with the original game out of original content. And finally, we have Bungie advertising a job position for loot based Engram progression... HOW DISGUSTING... AAA Gaming companies have lost the plot... honestly what are they thinking!! BOYCOTT GUYS.. its the only thing these companies understand...

111 RespostasBungie/Activision does not care about the back lash for Battlefront 2 because they think they can get away with what they plan to do to Destiny.

1 ResponderDestiny 2 soulless 💰 grab. My bump.

1 ResponderYay more white collar crime!

3 RespostasOP says , "you'll never guess what it's for" then right after says " You probably guessed it.".

13 RespostasWho cares. Did you see that Chuck E Cheese job ad. They are hiring someone to create more games that give less tickets but take more money. Did you see that amusement park ad? They are hiring someone to invent tougher carnival games making it harder to win. Did you see that Topps ad? They are hiring someone to figure out how to put less of the rare pokemon in card packs so you have to buy more to get maybe get one. Did you see that new card ad? They are hiring someone to figure out how to give you more options you don't need so they can charge you more for the car. If you don't want loot boxes then don't buy loot boxes. It isn't going anywhere. Games make BILLIONS of dollars off of these so obviously many like them.

2 Respostas-blam!- bungie
-
Yea this game SUCKS and Bungie HATES fun👎🏻
-
3 RespostasPersonally I think they should be hiring PR consultants as their rep is burning in hell right now.
-
2 RespostasWant to stop this eververse bullshittery? don't buy them. Now as easy as it sounds it is sad to announce that no one will just follow a command of one guy, especially when they try make it very interesting to buy those lootboxes. But if we're able to decrease the lootcrate profit in some way, this will drastically change how bungie / Activision do their lootboxes. Chances are..this might get worse, they'll put more appealing items in to lure more people to buy but we're able to stand and not buy their easy tactic profit, they'll eventually will do something positive. Remember: bungie aren't really give you much for destiny 2 so why should you? the DLC isn't even worth the price cause it's just based mostly in 1 segment & is literally forcing you to buy it so you can do raids! that is pathetic.

1 ResponderGuys it dose not say that. You are inventing issues! They want a new team lead for Evervurse. Not -blam!-ing surprising! It makes them money, and it is not surprising they want it to make them more. Here is the thing though it never says anything about Pay to Win you are just inventing that. SO CALM THE BLAM DOWN! If Pay to win shows up THEN take issue, other wise focus on the very real issues in the game.

1 ResponderThis happening would probably be my final straw, because I'm pretty fed up with destiny at this point already. The trust has never been there, the content has rarely been there, and the lack of effort always shows in the end.

It is a new position called "The writing is on the wall"
-
3 RespostasThe position is no longer listed on their website. They either filled it, or just removed it to try to avoid getting hammered more than they already have. I enjoy playing destiny, but if it goes to P2W then I will definitely find something else to do in my spare time. Interesting thing is that they got more of my money in D1 when I could pick exactly which Eververse items I wanted. I have not purchased ANY silver in D2 and have no intensions of doing so since it is RNG based.
-
3 Respostasyou cannot say that microtransactions are generally a bad thing. it can be quite the opposite: if done right they can lower the cost of the game for everyone or at least get us more content for our money while some people who want to unlock stuff faster or have the latest and greatest skin for their weapon/ armor pay the difference for everybody else. maybe at this point letting a company like Bungivision use this kind of mechanic is not a very good idea since they proved to have some overall shady approaches in their marketing.
-
3 RespostasI got a similar post talking about the same thing under destiny 2. I'm shocked that so many people are trying to dismiss this as "just a position to work on eververse what's the big deal?" and when you point out the fact that it uses the word progression all the sudden I'm speculating with no bases even though I read the listing from bungie.
-
You just told me I'd never guess what the job opening is for and then you told me I probably have guessed it!!! This shit is -blam!-ing confusing as -blam!-balls!
-
11 RespostasUntil Destiny becomes pay 2 win it's really not that big of a deal. All the Eververse items can be earned by playing the game anyways.

1 ResponderI feel like this is a huge leap in logic. We level up to get engrams hence player progression this seems like a massive over reaction, but I won't say the possibility isn't there but just because Player progression is said doesn't mean that we get abilities locked behind engrams , however I think that will be the finally straw for a lot of players and might just kill the game if they do something like that.
