If they're going to act as good or worse than any legendary, allow us to equip more than one.
(More of a demonstration statement than an actual one)
There called exotics for a reason, to be powerful not weak
"You cant equip more than one of those" give me a reason to and I will.

Exotics in Destiny are meant to have a unique design/feel to them. They are not meant to be more powerful/better than legendary equivalents.
-
1 ResponderExotic means powefull? I though it meant unique and different?

12 RespostasEditado por GrundleBeans: 9/7/2016 5:50:59 PMExotics refer to their uniqueness, not just power. They provide unique loadouts and perks that are otherwise not combinable or don't even exist on legendaries or rares, such as having two secondary weapons or blinding enemies who enter a WoD. None of them are actually weak, they're just different options for different situations, and they should NEVER make players overpowered. That would be the wrong solution for something that affects both PvE and PvP.

2 RespostasEditado por Hurphy: 9/7/2016 5:54:26 PMMoron's argument: "Exotics are not meant to be powerful they are meant to feel different." Common Sense: "Let me equip more than one then." Moron's Argument: "Rrrg...ugh...no that would break the game." Common Sense: "you just said they're not powerful, why not? Is it OP to feel TOO different?"
-
Yeah, exotics aren't that exotic anymore, are they? There is no reason these days to only have one exotic equipped at a time.
-
20 RespostasBump. If exotics are going to be extremely common (in some cases easier to obtain than legendary gear) they're going to continue to be extremely weak. If they're going to be weak, there is no reason why we shouldn't be able to equip more than 1. ESPECIALLY true in cases of exotics like Glass House, Dreg's Promise, Armamentarium, etc.

Bump Exotics these days are just hyped legendaries

5 RespostasEditado por Rebellis: 9/6/2016 10:45:35 PMWe should be able to in PvE. If not, then the devs are doing it wrong. One of the things that made Borderlands 2 so fun was using all of the sweet badass weapons I acquired together in one loadout. My Maya felt awesome with Sand Hawk, Lady Fist, Butcher, and Chère-amie. The game never put restrictions on what I can and can't use, and blasting bandits with my hard earned arsenal was always entertaining. Same goes for Warframe. How you play is up to you. But, in Destiny, its not like that. Bungie never separated PvP from PvE, and PvE gets dull and stale because of it.

I think I talked to someone about this a while ago but I think I said that some of the less "good" exotics (e.g. Radiant Dance Machines, Hereafter etc.) should come with the "Life Exotic" perk. I do feel that some exotics (mainly pre nerf stuff such as Vex or Thorn) shouldn't have it. What this would do is basically prevent someone from equipping 3 super powerful guns (I'd -blam!-ing love it though) such as HoW Thorn, Icebreaker, and OG Gjallarhorn (if none of those had the perk then they'd still act as if they had the current 1 exotic rule) but would still allow you to pretty much mix and match guns/armor that had the perk with those that do or don't (be able to equip Black Spindle and SGA with Hawkmoon or something but can't equip a OG Pocket infinity) I hope that's legible.

Editado por Moxxis Playtoy: 9/7/2016 6:23:32 PMAs someone one who loves the Universal Remote before it suddenly rained in the crucible before nerfs on shotgun I would say no. I would prefer to avoid that because even if Chaperone and Remote sounds fun, its no fun on the receiving end.

10 RespostasI agree. The point of only having one is so you're not OP. If their going to rebalance to basically make them the same as a legendary then why bother limiting the number equipped? Still I'd rather they just make them feel exotic again.
-
I've thought this for a while too. Though they should really just buff exotics to feel... you know... exotic again.
-
Editado por Dampfanator: 9/7/2016 3:18:05 PMI think they are more so exotics for the perks, and the styles that they have not so much that they are supposed to outclass every other weapon in the game at all times.
-
There are maybe 5 exotic weapons in total that are actual trash. Majority of them are good or useful. Just not in a "big" way like year 1. Armor isn't even worth discussing since from the very get go they've been designed to be very niche.
-
16 RespostasExotic does not mean good, it simply means it has a perk or two unlike any other weapon.

Big BUMP BUMP!!!!!!

3 RespostasSince Exotics are gimped but a few still need to be more so before this happens. "Oh noes, but then the gear is no longer exotic because it can be multi equipped" is bullshit at this point. Most, if not all "Exotic" gear has been made lackluster thanks to Nerfs.

This really a hawksaw I can grab from the vendor is better then most.

with all this nerfing and useless exotics, I do believe they lost the exotic quality. should just call them second gen legendary
-
1 ResponderI HIGHLY 2nd this. This would actually be a solution to many balance problems. Let us equip exotics in all 3 slots in pvp and pve why not? You have nerfed exotics to mere legendary levels so having us be able to equip all exotics will give us the power we crave, but you nerf the weaps so they still suck. This is a pretty fair compromise here.
