Destiny Theory: Warlocks can't remember their past life.
So I'm playing as my Warlock When I notice a the text for a few items seems to suggest that Guardians or at the very least only Warlocks can't remember their life's before they died and then first met their ghosts. The first was a Warlock bond with the text "Do you remember who you had been before?" Others I've seen say "Perhaps I had lives even before that. Perhaps I was a tree." (Samsara 1) another Samsara 1 items says "I'm glad I can't remember. Start fresh you know?". Have you guys seen this with Titans and Hunters?

Warlocks actually have a better grip on who they were because they get insight from practices like thanatonauts, who kill themselves and come back with pieces of who they were and other information through the dreams they have while they're dead

Huh that's pretty interesting... maybe it's because of what they've studied/exposure to the traveler. I do remember that sunsingers purposely die and self res to learn about death so maybe that has something to do with it?

I believe these questions are mostly isolated to Warlocks because, out of all three classes, they focus the most on who we were before rebirth, and Hunters and Titans focus on who we are after rebirth, and who we will become.
