The state of PvP, Jon Weisnewski *open for Cozmo or whoever*

I have an honest question for you, Weisnewski. Do you even read the forums? Seriously, 95%+ of your changes to the sandbox ha e been against, or flat out opposite of what the majority of forum users want, granted I don't know about Reddit and whatnot. Your "philosophy" for balancing is flat out wrong, nerfing the most popular weapon is not only stupid, but generally unwarranted. David Vonderhaar (Weisnewski's equal at Treyarch) says this about a certain weapon in Black Ops 3, the VMP (paraphrased), "it is overused but we (our testers) have found it to be overall in line with other weapons, therefore we aren't nerfing it." Weisnewski was faced with a near-idetical situation before the April update with Mida. Weisnewski nerfed the Mida, nothing major but still a nerf nonetheless. Same situation with autos back in the day, autos were useless for 6 months. The next thing I want to talk about is how excessive many of these nerfs were, starting at the auto rifle back in I think 1.1.1. The nerf to those autos was the most excessive nerf to anything that I've ever seen, autos were gimped, neutered, and whatever else for 6 months. The sandbox team didn't do anything to revert the nerf completely or revise it to something that made autos less useless. How about all of the shotgun nerfs? In the April update, Bungie made any non-max impact shotgun with rangefinder a peashooter with slow handling, that nerf needs to be removed or changed to something else, (I'll put my suggestion in my next weapon changes thread, whenever I make that). The last thing I want to say is that, while I am ranting a bit, this Iron Banner had made want to make this post, Weisnewski and anybody who shares his vision needs to be fired. If your lead sandbox designer has the reputation of "hating fun," he/she should be fired. Before you say, "Someone shouldn't lose their job because of a video game." Let me say this, if anybody does bad at their job on many, many occasions, and it's driving away both potential and repeat customers, any sane person would fire the person/people responsible. Weisnewski has actively said somewhere that he doesn't want to buff at all because that'll introduce power creep. He's right to an extent, but when almost everything in the game is weaker than what is started as, that power creep can be a good thing. The people who don't want Destiny to have the kill times of CoD shouldn't worry as most weapons had realistic kill times of around .75 seconds, many times that would be more. CoD has theoretical kill times of a quarter of a second in some cases. TL;DR: This Iron Banner has made me see that the problems with the constant nerfing are far worse than I expected, I probably summoned myself in that, sorry.
