In my opinion skill based matchmaking is just too much. I'm not even an above average player but it seems like I'm constantly being matched with sweaty ass pros. It feels like the matchmaking system will put you in a game with players that have better stats than you if it can't find a game with players that have more or less equal stats. Basically, I'm trying to improve but with skill based matchmaking putting me up against stacked teams with far better stats than mine, I'm finding it hard to recognize any progression.... e.g. when the competition is inversely proportional to a persons skill, noticeable improvements are few and far between. What ends up happening is my stats never go up which = never being able to find players that are willing to play with me for game modes like trials or 3's playlists. I'm constantly experiencing mental exhaustion due to the lack of satisfaction when playing pvp. I feel like a high school athlete that is constantly being tossed into games with college athletes. Constant sweat fest matches will burn people out and I love Destiny PVP, so I do not want to get burned out. What do you guys think?
