I love the vault space. I'm a hoarder and now I have some breathing room.
I love the new infusion system. Now I don't have to weigh options or save a high light piece of crap cuz it's too high to infuse with what I really want. And I can infuse multiple items to high light giving me more variety!
I always liked POE. So I'm glad its relevant again. Plus the new level packages are the bomb!
I didn't get my sterling in the mail, but I got some doing the POE and crucible. You're going to get *edit* 3 *end edit* packages a week for minimal effort which you really can't complain about.
I love how the rewards seem a lot more rewarding. I infused like crazy yesterday and went from 310 to 313. So there's still a lot of play to get to 335. But progression seems a little more consistent.
Is there more things I wish they addressed? Sure. But overall I am very happy with the update.

Crucible is much better now imo

I'm loving it too!

Special ammo nerfs to PvE are terrible, and the Rez nerfs are pointless and annoying
-
Yup. It's pretty great

4 RespostasEditado por birddrobot: 4/15/2016 12:37:08 PMIt's a small update, I like it. People are acting like they were expecting a whole new game.

This new update is utter crap. Nothing but a re done poe. Though, as an old "christmas noob" all i ever wanted was a lord high fixer. I yearned for this gun. I leveled up yesterday in the crucible, and guess what i got. Yep. God roll? No. But still a beauty and the gun i plan on using. I guess the update wasn't all that bad.

Editado por RobDaColchester: 4/15/2016 12:44:25 PMI liked the update, and I like the cut of your jib too.

I like the fact that destiny is now more solo friendly. Yeah linking up with people is fun and can get you some friends to play with and all that. But for those of us that can't seem to find reliable people, people that return to play with you on a daily basis, this update is AMAZING. Not only do more game types have the ability to drop high level gear, but there are more options in the number of game types you can get 335 gear from. No more hoping to get into the raid and doing all the coordination and crap. The raid was pretty much one of the only ways to increase your light level. We can do the new Poe (can be soloed or two manned easily) iron banner trials nightfalls and more and get possible 335 gear from it. Packages are dropping good rewards for factions vanguard Cryptarch and crucible. Also I like the reskinned faction armors because you can chroma them and it looks awesome. And for those complaining about the year one legendaries being brought forward instead of all new crap, the majority of people on here have been wanting most of the returning legendaries anyways. We hated earning gear and weapons and becoming used to them and using them just to have them become irrelevant. Plus those weapons have been some of the most popular throughout Destiny's lifespan. I for one am a happy camper.

Editado por Square American: 4/15/2016 12:37:16 PM"the new level packages are the bomb!" 😂I haven't heard slang like this since '91 Im gonna grab my discman and listen to my EMF cd😜 ✋Hi kids, Square here, EMF sang "unbelievable," trust me, you know it. ...they also sang the less popular song "children." 🤘 🗣 Fun fact: "children" was track 2 on the Crystal Pepsi Slipped Disc mix. I received this cd for free after sampling Crystal Pepsi at a mall in Florida. This was before it hit the shelves for like 9mo due to it being kinda like Sprite, only gross. 💩 🤓You see class, around 1991, the market was flooded w/ "space age" ideas such as clear...everything! You name it, it was clear! Just look up Van Halen's "right now" video. Revolutionary stuff for the cave man society of the 90's. ☝️

13 RespostasI loved it right up until the moment it told me to complete the Challenge of Elders. A quest step which asks you to buy a collectible without telling you that this game mode is locked behind a Fireteam-Wall. It's the midpoint of Year 2. Still no matchmaking option or in-game LFG design added. No part of a paid product should lock users out like this.
-
1 ResponderMy biggest problem with this game was the fireteam requirement. Yeah, I met some cool people in year 1, but playing this game like a job on a fixed schedule isn't something I could keep up with. Kudos to Bungie for making the endgame solo friendly.

3 RespostasCan you get from 310 to 320 for PoE and NF without raiding?
-
1 ResponderI agree, kings fall required too much team work for this community

2 RespostasEditado por A KOOL POP TART: 4/14/2016 10:23:04 PMLoving the supply drops. Had a really tense moment where I and 4 other players were going for the same box, 8 yellow bars between us and the loot, and only 15 seconds to acquire it. So, against overwhelming odds, I charged straight into enemy gunfire, threw down a support station, used a Stimpak, and prayed as I held X for 10 seconds. Managed to successfully grab the loot just as the timer hit zero and booked it for the nearest exit before the other players had the chance to PK me.

Yes, I too am very pleased with this update. The leveling is much more streamlined and I don't feel penalized for switching to a new piece. I'm in no hurry to max out, but I did increase my light by 5 in just 2 days as opposed to the 6 month grind fest to 310. I'd like to send a personal thanks to bungie for this update as it solves all of my previous complaints. I'll post those so you can see that maybe they are listening. 1. Increase Legendary Mark cap to 500. 2. Allow all factions to sell their own engrams. That gear drops no lower than your current light level. This would allow us a better chance at gaining the gear we want without having to lower our light. 3. Give us another way to level the gear we like. Add an armor smith and give the armor and weapon smith the ability to infuse our gear to the maximum light level one point at a time using glimmer, legendary marks, ascendant materials, radiant materials, etheric light, and moldering shards as part of the cost. The higher the light gets on an item the higher the cost to infuse it to the next level (only works on year 2 items that have the infusion slot. good for leveling gear you are having a hard time increasing the light). 4. (possible reforge) The smiths should be able to modify our weapons and armor using parts we have collected from other gear. We choose what to keep when dismantling items. A standard dismantle would yield glimmer and upgrade materials. A focused dismantle would yield the perk you want to keep. Example: a rare sniper rifle drops at 270 with the scope you wish you had on your 310 1000 yard. You would focus dismantle the 270 rare for the scope, take your 1000 yard and scope to the weapon smith for forging. 5. Remove exotics from the loot table expect for a small chance in the NF and a larger chance in the raid. Add Xur to the tower full time selling nothing but three of coins that only work in the NF and raid. He will also act as a raid que. 6. Bring back elemental primary drops in the raid. Ok, so they didn't implement all these points, but my major complaint and the reason for these points was the lack of variety in leveling and the penalty for switching gear. That, they solved.

This is the first update I'm not happy with. Bungie's primary focus on micro transactions has driven most of my friends away from the game.
-
The update is great for average players, but for hardcore players like me, there's not enough content, and now that it's easy to get to 335, we don't stand out anymore.
-
no complaints here, was 307 before the update; now 318. the only neg. if you call this a neg. was getting 2 green engrams killing Vex while on patrol on Venus...smh

As am i...haven't played yet tho
-
I think this is a pretty solid update so far, I'm loving it.
-
1 Respondergreat update just wish we can get these more often... Not hard to throw a random activity for a random day in the game on a random planet just to keep things interesting
-
2 RespostasI am also loving this update. There is so much more variety in the crucible! The endgame is ACTUALLY rewarding!
