Im in college algebra this semester- online
I had dropped pre calc(for no good reason)
Then I dropped the algebra accidentally, cause I thought I could sign up for a different time slot.
I was getting by with a low b-c with those. And the lower math classes I passed with Bs
Now I have a -blam!-ing 59%
I STUDIED MY -blam!-ING ASS OFF
and cried
for the exam I just took
And I didn't do so well.
I followed the study guide, and only 1/3rd of that shit was on the actual test.
And what was on the test was not worded like the hw/quiz have been
I have 2 exams and a project left in the semester, which I HAVE TO DO GOOD ON.
Exams are worth 50% of the damn grade
I'm like going to jump off a bridge, whats the point.
college is a scam
I got a 4.00 last semester, got a 3.55 over all, so I'm not dumb much.
I can graduate next semester with my A.A.
and become a housewife
I guess it was a bad Idea to take math online.
Got any tips for me on how you passed?!

English first. Maths later.

The study guide is helpful, but obviously shouldn't be the only source of studying

1 ResponderYou know those people in your class who looked at a math problem and solved it no problem before anyone else and they somehow just know what to do, yea I was that person... And I don't even like math...

1 ResponderThere's an app that gives you the answer to a math problem just take a picture of it

1 ResponderWhat always helped me with equations is don't pay attention to the extra terms bulking it up. Simplify it down to what it really is in the bare bones.

2 RespostasEditado por Deathstroke: 3/24/2016 11:00:27 PMWelcome to college. Try taking calculus for engineering and computer programming(advanced rate) that's being taught by a Hispanic whose first language is Spanish and has a speech impediment. Or the following course instructed by a Korean who moved from south Korea to get his degree and is now teaching his first class since finishing his own schooling. He also doesn't pronounce the letter "l" but instead says the word with an "r" and uses many words without communicating his point.

1 ResponderAlgebra is literally just moving shit around. You got an x over here? Move that shit over there. Y down there? Move that shit up here.

2 RespostasOne does math by putting two things together or taking two things apart.
