Used to be fun in year one before all of our favorite weapons were nerfed to s***, our favorite gear was still relevant, nightfalls were fun and rewarding, you didn't have to get the same raid drop over and over again in hopes of it having a higher light value. Yeah, remember when you could just upgrade raid armor to the max light value? You didn't need those VoG boots to drop 10+ times, just once. It sounds crazy but it's true.
