No we're not

1 ResponderEditado por iso-JustAGhost: 12/14/2015 4:33:03 AMNo but their grenades are. The Warlock grenades I think suck.
-
No. All their abilities are well managed or have good trade offs (range - / damage +, etc) Even when most just use the 3 newest subclasses, all 3 warlocks hold their own well. Voidwalker could use a tiny buff the way Defender got one, and Sunsingers just need a new perk to take the place of Solar wind.
-
OP is lettuce salad
-
Was able to get through Oryx challenge about 30 minutes ago using voidwalker.
-
4 RespostasNo, warlocks have always been a very powerful class. Honestly I don't understand all the people saying that it needs a rework that titans got. Titans have been the underdog of crucible all through year one, so it made sense that it was necessary to boost the two subclasses when the sunbreaker got nerfed. And even then the boosts are pretty minimal, especially on defender. So why are people expecting changes on warlock subclasses? When we're warlocks ever weak? Hell if anything warlocks have always been a very efficient class with or without their super.
-
Warlocks are fine but tbh I would like my Nova bomb to be shot a little faster.. I think specifically for the first one.. animation takes too long
-
Editado por MidknightRooster: 12/18/2015 8:20:14 AMNo for the most part I'm good. I main warlock and I can hold my own pretty well an even in several instances I've been able to come up clutch for my team in PvP and PvE. Not to say that It wouldn't be nice to have health regen like Bladedancers and hammer Titans lol.
-
17 RespostasI am going to be a grinch, but Sunsingers need a rethink. This is the support class of the Warlock, and it isn't. Remove Fireborn, significantly boost song and add another support perk.
-
1 ResponderYes they are so underpowered. Bungie should triple the blast radius of novabomb. And increase the lingering damage for viking funeral.
-
1 ResponderUnderpowered? No. Could they use a rework of recent titan change proportions? Absolutely.
-
i think the only one that needs a little reworking is the voidwalker, imo its grenades are the absolute worst in pvp if you don't use nothing manacles and even then they are inferior to a lot of other grenades (lightning, tripmine, fusion, incendiary etc) maybe make it so that sunsinger is a bit more supportive too
-
No. I think warlocks are fine.
-
3 RespostasNo, however I think Sunsinger and Voidwalker should be reworked like Striker and Defender were. Also rework Gunslinger and Bladedancer.
-
1 ResponderI'm a year 2 player, so I'm not an expert on the game. But having played hunter and warlock, I find warlock to be the more "in your face" of the two. (Haven't played titan, so idk). I haven't used warlock in pvp yet, but having spoken to Warlocks, they seem to be balanced in pvp. Stormcaller super is powerful, but there are simple ways to counter it, just like other classes. In pve, warlock is easier to take back control if you get cornered. Overall, I like warlock better for the sheer power behind them.
-
No but sunsingers could be more supportive in their design and Voidwalkers need a small touch up.
-
From a Warlock main, the only things I want are for Sunsinger to play into its support role more, and Voidwalker to be reworked, because honestly Stormcallers do their job better
-
They are pretty balanced in pvp in my opinion
-
1 ResponderEditado por DeviousBarnacle: 12/16/2015 4:04:06 AMI think they're balanced in pvp, But I do wish that sunsingers would get a rework. Because in my opinion they are really boring to play and unless your dying frequently they are useless in pve. Aside from that tho I think they are very well balanced for pvp although stormtrance should drain faster as you attack with it. This is coming from a warlock main
-
Good the way t is
-
2 RespostasHave you not used their grenades? Easily best grenades in the game hunter ones are fun to use and Titan ones are good for many situations. However warlock grenades blow them out of the water. Not jus PvP in PvE as well.
-
They are in the perfect place #warlockmain

3 RespostasEditado por Corrosive Fear: 12/14/2015 4:35:48 PMYes and No Truly my opinion on this topic is in between here's why. Warlock in General - Very good class in ways of recovery and equipment - Have access to some of the Best most powerful grenades I've seen in my Destiny career - Space Magic! Subclasses (Oh Boy..) Stormcaller - This class hit the ground running or for say gliding either way quite a powerful super for the reason of first of all feeling like a Sith Lord. This class has seen it's fair share of hate in the community and sometimes from me too here's why - Longest lasting super while actually being used. - Has a lot of perks that make the class pretty evasive and powerful - Comes with a mini FoH (Landfall) and if not killed by that has the enemy is blinded for a decent amount of time - Very far range with super, Tends to shock through walls but it's probably due to lag or just rare glitch. - Again really good grenades especially the new grenade that has a good AOE Now what I need to see this class Get/Take or Buff/Nerf - Lower the range by just a little - Rework the lighting chain (Tends to chain if not in the general area of the lighting) - Lower the time of the Super time by 5 Secs - Give the class better Agility during Stormcaller This class is very good but in just PvP it's a little too good and this class is my oly reason why I would say no to Warlocks being Underpowered Sunsinger (Grenades for days) Very Very VERY Good class in both PvE and PvP and lately has felt pretty weak and only felt useful in certain places mostly Hardmode Raid Changes I've noticed - Radiance recharge rate for grenades and melee even with max Discipline and/or Strength has been a bit slowed down but ridiculously slow now and it's upsetting because next to their enhanced melee makes their class pretty weak compared to the other two subclasses . - When self reviving warlocks can instantly get dropped like their resurrection didn't mean anything. Buff (No nerf really needed) - Give 30- 35% increase in grenade recharge and melee recharge - Overshield increase when Self Revive activates but goes away 5 secs after Revive Now it seems like a lot to give but truly any Warlock can agree and see or feel how weak the class feels now. Voidwalker (Wait people still you that class?) Yes people do but mostly in PvP for the Nova Bomb is a monster in Crucible Changes I've seen Really just never seen ever and has been shunned mostly if seen in PvE. Nerf/Buff - Want to see this class buffed greatly not for it's use in PvP but for PvE if possible - Give a much bigger explosion radius maybe 10-20% in blast radius - Animation to use Novabomb needs a 3sec delay before use - Axion Bolts tracking decreased by 25% - Life Steal perk steals much more life about 10-15% more Truly this class needs to be noticed and deserves the attention it got in Year 1 Conclusion I want to see Sunsinger and Voidwalker buff like Defender and Striker were just in the recent patch Now I notice there may be some flaws in my ideas or if your that guy/girl may correct my spelling but anyways feel free to reply with any tweaks you see necessary we can discuss about it. P.S: My main is actually a Titan and sounds weird right but I know a lot of people who are main Warlocks and it's sad to see that they are basically force to use Stormcaller in a most cases I see both in PvP and PvE because the other classes feel weak. Thanks For Reading!

Small reworks are needed to be relevant to current raid and nova bomb damage damage buff but no not really
-
Warlocks are fine where they are especially void walker i hate stormcalling but void walking especially in crucible is fun

5 RespostasEditado por Silver: 12/14/2015 5:14:23 AMThey are definitely not underpowered. But Voidwalker needs a major damage buff and Sunsinger really needs to be re-worked. Voidwalker needs to be that class that can put out A TON of damage. I suggest Nova Bomb gets a huge damage buff so it can one shot any major in PvE, along with a significant buff to Bloom and a PvE exclusive damage buff to Axion Bolt. I always think of Voidwalker being the go to class for utter damage output. Being able to kill almost anything with ease. (Just like a glass cannon... Hm...) Sunsinger should provide support abilities that would make people want to use their super rather than save it for when you die. I think Radiance should provide a pulsewave that heals allies, buffs recovery, movement speed, handling and damage for allies. Fireborn should be built in with Radiance, not requiring a perk. Along with Radiant Skin buffing allies defences. Song of Flame's effect should be doubled and have no radius and just effects everybody in the fireteam. Along with an ability that revives your teammates. This is just my opinion. Stormcaller is completely fine aside from maybe a PvE Damage buff. My Sunsinger tweaks might be a little OP though. edit: I'm glad some of you like this! :)
