This is the most vicious, misanthropic community I have ever been witness too.
Why is everyone so disrespectful and downright hateful toward each other on these forums? In game, I never run into people as vitriolic as I see here. We all have at least one thing in common, probably more. Why are so many of you so cruel to you each other? Is being a repugnant little brat cool these days? Are you so emotionally battered yourselves that you percieve everyone as an enemy? I just don't understand. To quote a man most of you have never heard of, can't we all just get along?

No one will read your words and change their ways, so give the people who want to be happy something good to read. And, this community is actually pretty badass. You're hard on us, sure, but we can take it. You're good to each other at times. Guardians are pretty willing to show each other the way to glory. I dig that.

To quote a man most of you have never heard of, can't we all just get along?[/quote] I don't think that sounding like a victorian dad will reduce the frustration of bored destiny players but you should feel good that only a small percentage of people who appreciate and relate to your much higher intellect will find you interesting and an even lower percentage will have any idea what you're talking about therin reducing contact with the majority of the toxic rabble present on these forums who are humanities biggest disappointments.....or, you could just say "you fkn moany twotts are pissn me off with your bitchy whining. Man up princess" and then the entire community will be able to understand your point..

I get along great with people who are rational..intelligent...and reasonable when comes to common topics. But people who bitch/complain/give stupid arguments with no modicum of common sense?[b] I will not tolerate.[/b] [b]Especially people who bash Bungie without any factual reason or rationality let alone real proof and not bullshit media/datamined crap.[/b]

I agree that this forum is toxic, but then it doesn't represent the majority of Destiny players, because a lot of people who come here to post horrible stuff don't play anymore or have an account with no characters. It's just toxic people being toxic for the sake of it. Plenty of people on the forum are nice. They're just outweighed by the nasty ones.

It's some of the forum community, most of the people I find on lfg are pretty chill, just look out for any posts without the words "no noobs" "will get kicked" and other terms

When I read stuff about how great the Destiny community is, I don't relate that to this forum. There are lots of other forums and social media where the greatness is. Bungie themselves seem more active in those places at times too. This forum is like the ghetto for the game where all the bums can come and rot in their own filth while the more affluent thrive uptown. Don't dwell here if you are looking for intellectual information on the game or to discuss things with people who are not scrapping their knuckles on the ground.

Simple, I want to see the forums burn. I love the negativity. It's literally the best part of the forums no matter how stupid and idiotic the people on these forums are. I seriously dislike a lot of people on the forums and wish them suffering, it brings me joy. To be honest, I wish everyone in here (excluding myself of course) would step on legos the rest of their lives. A positive forum would just be too dull and boring so negativity is needed to be honest. In short, this forum and community needs this negativity to keep going because nothing ever changes if everyone is so -blam!-ing happy. Geez, the thought of a place in a complete positive fashion would lead me to be a asshole to everyone in the room.

Yep. Left quite a few fireteams when i run into players who are like that. The guardians who are in it to better the community and game are out there. Got to take the good with bad.

I've had the opposite experience actually. I've met more supportive and chill people here than any other gaming community I've been a part of. It's all about getting that one good fire team buddy and wrecking. Add me if you want I'll run with you on ps4
