Activision, you ruined BUNGIE. You ruined this game. This is what you do? This game is going to become PAY2WIN soon. I'm leaving if they do it.
-
2 RespostasWAIT WHAT? We're not getting stuff handed to us for free?! Omfg what's next? Having to pay for food, cars, or even gas?!?! Wtf is this world coming to when people actually expect money for items?!
-
Im I the only one who reads the tags. Lol gg Variks
-
Dismantle Account, Yesssssssss?
-
2 RespostasI honestly don't care... I've enjoy Destiny, so its likely I'll buy more expansions. Those who want it will buy it, those that whine and complain will also buy it... as usual.
-
2 RespostasCool satire post, OP. To me, this doesn't confirm anything. Until I get an explicit "yes" or "no" answer from Bungie about whether microtransactions will fund DLC, I'm going to stay optimistic. I think it's unlikely that DLC will be funded by our new emotes, but I'd like to stay hopeful until an official statement comes out.
-
1 ResponderEveryone still believes that microtransactions wasn't going to hurt the game
i told you so
-
2 RespostasLast year we had to pay for our dlc's. Why do you care so much that we don't get them free in year 2. As long as there is a dlc and new content, I don't mind paying $20 ever 3 or 4 months until destiny 2 comes out.
-
Oh no, we have to pay for content!? How the hell are we expected to pay for things with real money, shouldn't everything be free and provided for us?
-
6 RespostasJust saying halo 5 is pay to win. Does anyone care? Nope! because it's halo
-
Leave? Yessssss?
-
I literally read this in the voice of Variks

Editado por Karma Crimzin: 11/4/2015 6:29:03 PMThey are a business and they are here to make money period. They care if you like the product but because you are paying for it. The more you like, the more you buy and just because micro transactions are a thing doesn't mean pay2win I don't understand why people think this. If you want a dance you pay for it, if they sell new skins for a weapon you like and you want it they you pay for it. If you leave the game it doesn't matter they will get their money from someone else while you move on to another game you like. Welcome to the real world all the people who complain
-
7 RespostasAll activision cares about is sales. They don't care about the happiness of their customers.
-
1 ResponderThis game is worth buying dlc for. I agree with you though: I don't want the ability to buy weapons.
-
24 RespostasFor everyone that complanes about spending money in a game. You need to get a job. Now for those who say "I have a job" well obviously you don't have a very good one. To be charged 2.99$ for something is like going to your local store and buying yourself a pop. You broke scrubs need to quit mooching off your parents and learn what work is.
-
I have a query, when they say registered players does that mean people playing everyday or does it include people who have created a character, played for a week and havent come back
-
4 RespostasIf Activision turn destiny into a skylander-esque pay to play game they will well and truly ruin destiny, Luckily fallout 4 and other great games will be coming out soon so if that's the case they may lose a massive chunk of gamers
-
1 ResponderDude if your not really a mmorpg player than you really don't understand the concept of in game purchases and new expansions. I mean for instance look at wow the number one mmorpg out there and look how well it's doing they have new expansions every year and in game transactions. It's just going to happen and I can see destiny being on the best console mmorpg games out there. The path bungie and activision who also works with World of Warcraft was expected to happen they have to make money in order for the game to go further and be everything everyone wants it to be. So you need to quit complaining about this because it's going to happen and stay so enjoy it get use to and get a job or just quit no one is holding a knife to your throat telling you to pay money to play this game.
-
3 RespostasPeople misinterpreted "free dlc". We've already seen one(Halloween event) and we will likely see more like christmas and other holidays. These are events when BUNGIE dumps a bunch of free content like decorating the tower, new emotes, and these masks for free to all players
-
1 ResponderEditado por Vengeful Cow25: 11/4/2015 3:33:38 AMThe "Free" DLC is just going to be more events like the festival of the dead. They're just pointless add ons which introduce new things to pay even more silver on! So, the more silver you spend, the more opportunities you will have to spend more silver.
-
Variks you have to stay loyal
-
Well, it's Activision & Bungie... Whoever actually thought this was a possibility is naïve. It's not about being handed free content. It's about rewarding players who have spent $120+ on this game and have played it for over a year. You don't reward them by squeezing more money out of them. And the whole "funding the development team" thing is BS. How many millions of players has this game had? And on average each player has spent, what, $100 on the game? Yeah, must be hurting on cash.
-
7 RespostasThey never said its paying for DLC, the said its bolstering the Live Team. Events, quests, quick hot fixes, etc is what live teams handle.
-
Deej I get it that it's not your fault, but if Bungie goes back on their "free DLC" plan, well I might have to stab you in the neck.
-
3 RespostasDid you even read the article? They said nothing about pay to win but said they liked how players loved the emotes and said more would come out as well as updates....-blam!-ing illertierate -blam!-
-
44 RespostasName one game that ever had free DLC.
