You cannot earn something that is randomly given to you. If someone hands you a million dollars in cash, did you earn it? No, you didn't. I, however, did activities that rewarded me with coins, which I used to buy my gjallarhorn. So, yeah, I earned it by choosing to do those activities and spending my coins as I see fit. The way I see it, only those of us who BOUGHT it should be getting your special snowflake shader and emblem.

3 RespostasI find it ironic how many of your VOG runs have 0 kills and 0 deaths on a weekly basis across multiple characters. Now I'm no expert but doesn't that suggest you, like many others solely farmed Gorgon chests for many of your exotics. If so, I'd love to hear how joining somebody else's checkpoint is considered "earning". They are just pixels, be happy for the people that get to experience Gally for a little while, especially those with over 1400 hours who are yet to be blessed by RNG. I wonder how many exotics you've purchased from Xür yourself?

let me get this straight. RNG drop = earned, but running a hard strike to get coins = not earned. so its like "you bought that car, you didn't earn it by having it randomly be given to you"

No. Give everybody whose stupid enough to believe they've 'earned' a random drop a non removable emblem with maybe a ghally dripping with salty tears so we can see in game the players to avoid like the plague!

5 RespostasTechnically everyone "earned" it, they did their strikes "earned", they grinded for (hours, months, etc) " earned", they got lucky in RNG "earned", they bought it week 2 " earned", they bought it week 2 and henceforth got many other drops after "earned"; doesn't matter how you put earned yea it might be the premiere weapon of the game in its own right but its their game as far as I see it they can do whatever the heck they want. Play if you want or don't play it, that's your choice whining about an object or item that's " op " or a crutch in some aspect, shouldn't have a post...its useless and pointless, anything else just wanted to voice the truth. If anything your missing the point least now in fireteam searching now hopefully everyone can play with each other as a community and not as separate single entities..
