4 Primary Type of Gjallarhorn Owners in Destiny
1. Mr./Ms. Lucky: Basically RNG just gave them the Gjallarhorn after a couple of weeks of Nightfalls and a couple raid completions.
2. Workaholic: [b]Three[/b] Gorgon chests, Atheon's, Deathsingers, Crota's, and Nightfalls [b]Every Week[/b] for several months. If post HoW, same as before with the addition of [b]Three[/b] Queens bounties for treasure keys, PoE's, and Lighthouse runs. Again only to be rewarded with the Gjallarhorn after several months.
3. Mr./Ms. Unlucky: they played the endgame content like the workaholics but ultimately only saved from their cursed luck by Xur.
4. Lazy guardian(busy with real life)/Noob(just started): Lazy's spend more than 25% of their time playing patrol, have done a few raids, PoE's, Nightfalls, and weekly strikes none with any consistency. Just purchased Gjallarhorn from Xur.
Edit: 5. Early conquer with superb foresight: purchased Gjallarhorn week 2.
What type are you?
Did you work your tail off week after week watching your fireteam get their third or fourth? Are you just a lucky two shoes? Are you a mix lucky and new?
Are you as stoked for everyone to get their hands on the Gjallarhorn as I am? No matter where they fall?

I guess I would be mr lucky... I got it a longggg time ago, rng. It sat in my vault for a few months, til crota came out really. Then I realized what I had been avoiding. Thought I could do more damage with lmg. Naive young guardian

Workaholic plus a bit of masochism because this is my first serious FPS and my noob coefficient put my K/D in the 0.001 range for weeks and weeks. But I finally got my K/D over 1.000 and I got a Gjallarhorn into the bargain.

I got mine week 2 because it looked cool, I've also had 5-6 drop. I've put in some time though so whatever. At least there should be less problems with groups not letting people in now.

Week one from crucible. 9-13-14. My first exotic, however, was on 9-10-14. Truth.

I've had eight drop for me and I've got less than twenty raid completions. Most from Nightfall, one from a legendary engram and one each from VoG & Crota. I hardly use it, I've got around 1200 kills with it, and I don't care about the selling of it. The biggest issue I've seen so far is that with all of the recent first time owners it's been built up so much that they think it's the answer to everything when it's clearly not. Ran some random dragon strikes [i]just because[/i] last night and was shaking my head at the way rounds were getting fired off with no real benefit. I'm waiting for all the cries of how much it sucks when new owners use it on Skolas when Small Arms is active. It will happen, it [i]has[/i] happened. I was amazed to see how many LFG Skolas entries required a maxed Gjallarhorn during Small Arms weeks, when the group was looking for someone [b]at the Skolas round[/b].

Type 2 for sure. Been playing since day 1 and didn't get gjallarhorn until april. Grinded for every chance at an exotic every week

Primarily a crucible player, after a game it dropped for me.

I was the workaholic at one point, then I just gave up and said -blam!- it, I could easily kill crota on hard either way so I stopped caring and always doing it all 3 times a week every week. Then boom, first chest I opened in the 34 PoE during the first week of HoW, Gally. Two days later, 2nd Gally from crota. Then I got my 3rd from this weeks nightfall.

Type 5: someone who did not care about gally. Very similar to lazy but they "earned" (if you can call it that) theirs and did not go super crazy.

Type 0? I would say I'm Mr. Lucky Type 1, but Gally was my first exotic and I got in a crucible drop before I ever even attempted any nightfalls or raids
