Did deej ever clarify what year 1 extras we're getting?
Sure there's the shader, emblem and sparrow but it was always clear in the posts there was more, specifically "and more".
He said he would clarify "and more" in the very near future but that was weeks ago. Sooo they just hoping we forget or is it that stupid bloody achievement emblem for doing all the things?

Pretty much. Deej said something along the lines of, "year one players will be getting something better than the CE content," on twitter and to tune into the weekly update for more info. Update comes out, community sees no mention of it, and the twitter post got deleted. GJ, Bungievision strikes again.
