I was glad about the nerfs & buffs until....
I read that gjallarhorn is being nerfed like woah this thing is supposed to be the best and it did cause elitism but the nerf to the gjallarhorn will cause even more elitism because now challenging tasks for people will be a little harder which will make them want fireteams of gjallarhorners
I also read the black hammer and icebreaker will be nerfed like wtf? Why!
Hawkmoon being nerfed so it can't one shot kill ? The chance of that is 1 in 2100 something can't remember and its actually more like 3000 because not every shot you land is a head shot.
Shotguns being nerfed 10% in pve wtf...
Final round like seriously I get killed by that once in a blue moon /:
At least they're buffing auto rifles /:

Seems like they're doing an awful lot to make the good weapons shitty and the shitty weapons...mediocre...doesn't seem like it will be very satisfying as a whole with TTK in general going down. I guess I'll just have to wait and see...

After the nerf, The lfg sites won't just want more ghorns to make up for lost dmg but they will also probably be looking for nighthawk hunters. [spoiler]The helm can 1 shot crotas overshield and 1 shot deathsinger I heard.[/spoiler]

3 RespostasThe Gjallarhorn nerf is going to backfire horribly. The people who feel they [i]need[/i] Gjallys to get through endgame activities will now be even more stingy with allowing those in that don't have one. No longer can one person with Gjally cover the damage output of another without it, and thus it will become a requirement for everyone in the fireteam. The nerf that they thought would diminish its exclusivity is actually going to promote [i]more[/i] elitism.

3 RespostasThorn is the strangest one, drop dot by 4 points but stack it 5 times? So instead of 2 head shots and walk away that happens now it's spam body shots and walk away. At least with the old way people had to head shot to take the pi $$. Now you don't even need to be able to aim to spam thorn.

Quite happy about the no land beyond buff because I like the gun, keeps me on my toes, but at the minute, it shouldn't be an exotic

3 RespostasLowering the damage the wolf pack rounds really pissed me off, but not nearly as bad as the white nail perk on the blackhammer. The perk was designed to, if you could make precision shots consecutively, you would never run out of ammo. But now if you land 3 critical hits, all the perk is going to do for you is eliminate the animation of reloading.... This next update is going to make a big impact on the PVE community for sure.

Gjallarhorn still will be the best, so that's also fine. Hawkmoon may as well get that bullet stack change. No reason not to. Change to ib and black hammer might force people to do the content a bit more creatively, but was the part I of the update that made me go "meh, that's careface".

5 RespostasWho said Gjallarhorn had to be the best? Nothing makes it harder to get than other exotics. Gjally + Blackhammer is the PvE meta; people are just upset because they are going to have to change up their strategy.

15 RespostasI like the nerf to gally cause it can shine some light on weapons like dragons breath if the wolf pack rounds are nerfed to oblivion. But I mean I'm pretty sure each round would do at least 300 to 200 on every hit which seems fair depending also on the target.
