Then you really don't understand how this works. It doesn't matter what the majority says, the Supreme Court makes the final decision. Just like the electoral college for instance, George W. Bush was never meant to win against all gore. All gore had more votes then bush, but the electoral college makes the final decision. So if no one in the entire U.S. Voted, then the electoral college would cast their own votes as normal. So in small terms, they make the final decision. Doesn't matter what the majority thinks. Also homosexuality is normal! It's found in many types of animals. Now before you get on to me about how a lot of them are cannibales or have incest, but those things don't abide by our life, love, and the pursuit of happiness. Most of the time incest is statutory grape, or just plan grape.
i put grape instead of rape btw. I did it on purpose
You're a bit off on the al gore part. Yes gore did win the popular vote, but not the electoral vote. Yes the electoral college is a bit silly but it is how our system works, but really a discussion for another time. However the reason he lost is because the supreme Court told Florida to stop counting the votes. The SCOTUS is a bunch of politicians in robes and they very often will make rulings that benefit them and their beliefs. Just because they got something right this time doesn't mean they aren't politicians and following their own agenda. Look at all the bad rulings they have made like citizens united...

We're way overdue for repealing the electoral college system.

4 RespostasLaws and any constitutional rights are passed via congress or a constitutional convention. The Supreme Court does not have the power to create law, only to rule upon established laws. Just because they continue to rule beyond the bounds of their constitutional power does not make it right. Also, you grammar school analysis of how the electoral college works and why Bush 43 won agains "All" Gore is sadly lacking in facts or substance, but that's beside the point. I hold to the constitution and don't support SCOUT's judicial tyranny. Gay marriage is a state issue, not to be determined by a 5 person majority of unelected judges drunk on their confiscated and unchallenged power. You can call me a bigot all you want. You are a bigot too for labeling me as such without knowing my reasoning or understanding the supreme law of the land- the constitution- not 5 people suffering from delusions of grandeur who are crapping all over the constitution they've sworn to uphold.

4 RespostasHow exactly is it found in animals, though? I've heard before that, when observed in animals, the cause is usually some bad mix-up of pheromones or hormones. One example I read in a scientific article once was how a female dog was attracted to another female dog, but only when the second one was in heat. Notwithstanding the fact that animals can't form relationships as complex as humans, does that still count as homosexuality, or chemical/hormonal imbalances? If you still think it's the former, why? Because then it can be considered like cannibalism or other brutish, animalistic urges which mankind strives to be better than, and so it shouldn't be accepted or promoted. But if you agree with me that it's the latter, then those imbalances can surely be cured and the animal returned to normal. This implies though, since humans are also influenced by pheromones and hormones, that those kind of people could be cured from their homosexuality as well. Why is this not the case? Instead of wanting to be normal, those people and their supporters praise their abnormality, mock and scorn anyone who says any word otherwise, and reject any attempt to help them. Why not?
