It's genetically based my friend. You've always had the gene mutation. The development of the condition gradually onsets based on lifestyle choices. Things to consider are diet, cigarette smoking, etc. It can become fully engaged at any time. You could have been 8, 18, 28, doesn't matter. Someone in your family had it and you were passed the genetic marker. Search PubMed or the national institute for health (NIH). You'll get all the good info there.

The perks say kills but just hitting something raises the shit out of it. I don't mind it but it should be fixed to require the actual kill.
