Let's face if there were no shotguns most of you would suck at pvp
I'm not great by any means talk shit about my kd idgaf. I'm just saying without shotguns most of you would not be that good ..especially shotgun campers just crouched ina corner waiting to knee shot someone grow a pair and get to the battlefield I -blam!-ing suck at pvp but I'm not a pussy behind the rocks waiting for easy kills

Yeah probably, shotguns have been my bread and butter for, oh geez, over a decade at least. I even used them in Full Auto.

I'm gonna admit, I used a shotgun 24/7 until most of the community obtained Felwinter's, now I main a sniper.

Sniper rifles are excellent for close-quarters combat, with their quick aiming action, large projectile spread and relatively fast reload times. Wait... All sarcasm aside, I use shotguns pretty often. Do I use them all the time? NOPE. When I'm around the perimeter of a map, I use my pulse rifle or auto rifle- don't really like too many scouts or hand cannons for PvP- for the mid to long ranges, because they're MORE EFFECTIVE at range. When I'm in a hallway or a small room, shotguns all the way. The right tool for the right job. If you've got a shotgun at the ready when you should have a ranged weapon, you're an idiot. Same goes for vice versa. Equip two differently suited weapons for different ranges and swap between them when it's appropriate. It is literally ONE button click away. Edit: How the hell do you have 3 lvl 32 characters and have THAT low of both grimoire and medal scores?? You come on here talking crap, but you've hardly even played the game. Ugh. Boot.

I was inspecting a guy in crucible (level 30) had a green scout rifle with shoot to loot and invective. "Lol this kid is using a green scout rifle for his primar-oh wait, he's not going to use it..."

The other is long range restricted because you can't quick scope (also trash tactic). So it leaves your choice of a secondary very limited. People can't be upset when there are only three choices. Edit: Just to be clear I don't support people that corner camp with shotguns or any other weapon. Just stating that there is limited secondary weapon options.

I am by no means a good PVP player at all and I tried shotguns on a few occasions and could not do a thing at all with them. So I went back to using my Suros or Gheleon's Demise, Timur's Lash. One thing for sure is that I have been nailed by shotguns more than anything else in this game. And more times than not with just one shot (which candidly I did not even think was possible). It does take the fun out of PVP when you keep getting nailed time and again with shotties. That being said I have had some success with Fusion Rifles in PVP and for many that is considered to be every bit as bad if not worse than shotguns.

I tried a rumble match last night and was reminded why I hate rumble. The guy who won was doing absolutely nothing but blinking around the map with a shotgun.

1 ResponderDon't worry, once the ammo restriction hits the crucible it won't happen as much. People will be forced to use a primary weapon instead, and ultimately the skill gap will grow. Though there is always Invective and Icebreaker lmao.

Yes! I get really angry at people who use shotguns, so I just use a sniper rifle so I am not "one of those". The occasional t-bag if they are major shotnoobers.

I suck at PvP with and without shotguns. In fact the only reason I an using them at all is because I am trying to do Thorn bounty and it's the best void weapon I have, aside from heavies which have very limited ammo. My Word of Crota is okay but it's a 3-4 shot at best.

2 RespostasLol another post about shotgun campers. If you are consistently getting killed by them you deserve to die. It's not hard at all to counter campers in this game....you have radar. Either avoid them or use grenades/supers. Don't charge in when you suspect a camper is in there.
