This quote is DeeJ's response to Mr. Fruit's answer to the "how to improve Destiny" question.
We’ll certainly take that into account the next time we have a raging internal debate about how we invest our time and passion into the next Bungie games that we hope you’ll play – and talk about.
Now to me this reads like "pack it up we're done here", but I am a notorious negative Nancy. With the not so recent developments of comment locking and absolute silence in the forum those of us more prone to see negatives are left with our minds reeling.
The Destiny community conversation has been terribly bleek and absolutely nothing has been done about that. Can nothing be confirmed nor denied anymore? Is cloak and dagger so important that the risk of tripping on your cloak and falling into the dagger really worth it?
So is feedback done?

189 RespostasMost of the elements that you'll download in Update 1.1.2 are a product of player feedback. Patience is a virtue. The best confirmation that you've been heard is the delivery of an actual feature.

1 ResponderTo answer your question....YES. they don't give a fan about what we have to say. Most of our feedback falls to deaf ears and a company to lazy to actually take our feedback and do something with it. They have their own agenda and just make it look like it's ours. By the cunning words of Deej a lot of people believe the shit that runs out of his mouth

Quit playing the game Would not recommend purchase of this product Happy grinding

in b4 destiny stops getting made ^.^

1 ResponderI saw Deej kick some people out of the forums when they were talking smack about the girls playing destiny update a while back. Yes, that's right, the only witnessed interaction I've seen from him is blocking people for talking smack about girls.
-
I'm about done because the only thing these F uking bungi people do is nerf the shit out of everything and only listen to the little ass holes who want every god damn thing neared or buffed and they never listen to the good part of the community only the shity side
-
OH YEA THANKS FOR THE STUPID PURPLE BALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 RespostasDeej, You are a propagandist. Done. I have lost respect for a company I cared about because of their blurred vision and complete idiocy. You focus on pvp, ignore pve, completely leave out things in a game that we should have from day one, and are so vague in your post you should work for the White House. I will be playing your game bc I believe in what it could, my honest opinion is that we will never see what Destiny was supposed to be, we are playing an Alpha

Bump bump bump this needs to be seen bungie!!!
-
They'll only end up making so much DLC. Then a two year silence... Then an epic E3 trailer for a Destiny sequel!
-
They can only add so much to the game, if a patch or update requires re working the core game code or data bases it might be impossible to change. I am sure ideas and suggestions are being placed into Destiny 2. ;)

6 RespostasI've seen zero interaction with the "Bungie" employees and the community, aside from the short stint of what was "supposedly" a Q&A's event which avoid all important questions that most would like answered. I think it's hard to put "Feedback" and "dead" with one another as it seems like it's never actually started in the first place, which is depressing.

As far as I can tell the only feedback that they may use is what my industry call fix in the field. In other words let your customers debug your product and fix it later when it gets enough complaints. This in now way means that they are going to make any significant changes to the games structure. Destiny 1 is in the can, so other than special events they are likely not to change course. I believe that this game was supposed to be an improved version of Halo with an extra side element consisting of some strikes and raids. I'm sure that they thought everyone was only going to do these extra events for level progression but the main focus was PvP like Halo. I think that they underestimated who was going to purchase their game and unfortunately at this point there is nothing they can do about it.

13 RespostasEditado por ParasiticFilth: 4/9/2015 7:21:36 PMI draw the same conclusion from that statement. Then again, you and I agree on far too many instances, for my opinion to count as a variant. Just like a mirror image will not reflect anything to you but yourself, a person with an adverse opinion will offer more optimistic light that you cannot see. DeeJay is a schooled propagandist. His statements have always been methodically written to hide little details. Sometimes those details are an aspiration of promise, other times those details hide nasty little insights mimicking his own personal feelings of disillusionment. Any good or schooled writer will pour their soul into anything they author, no matter how uninvolved one might view writing something as a simple answer as an online comment. Obviously, to be at the helm of a corporation's PR department, this DeeJay character once valued the pen to some degree. I imagine, a lot of Bungie employees are dissatisfied with this game and how Activision is purposely hobbling it. Like any skilled workforce, they take their work very personal, and when something turns out as badly as this project has; it ultimately takes a toll on their own personal worth. They probably feel like they could easily make this thing work if it wasn't for the overhead.

1 ResponderThe only way for them to realize people are unhappy with the game is to hit their check books I.E. BOYCOT ALL DLC THAT SHOULD HAVE ORIGINALLY BEEN IN THE GAME
-
The comment below this is pretty much a thread on its own

I'm still waiting for it to actually start.

Mhm bump

16 RespostasMy biggest problem with the feedback section is that there is very little feedback from Bungie. At least comment here so we know that the questions and posts have been acknowledged. The community should be an open dialogue between the player's and Bungie. What I want is communication from Bungie directly or our liaison DeeJ.
-
10 RespostasThey keep telling us to give feedback so that we have something to do. Seeing as there's nothing to do in the actual game anymore
-
Watch the planet destiny podcast deej talks in it

7 RespostasWow, somebody else made the same thread I tried to create, because I saw that exact same line and had to back up and reread it a couple of times. I literally made the "Fry Face" from Futurama. Like, is he making a dig at something/somebody? Is he serious? Is this a joke? Is DeeJ/Bungivision's head really that far up his/their ass? I still have no clue. But seriously. WTF.

33 RespostasWhat is even the CONTEXT of the quote you're using?!?!? There is no way to determine that the 'that" is, that Deej is referring to. Without any sense of that, there is no way to know what the rest of the quote means.
-
8 RespostasThey clearly listen to what we say based on the updates we get DeeJ doesn't respond because he is tired of being berated by teenagers
