Biggest badass in history?
Who, in your opinion, is the biggest badass in history? I would say Vlad the Impaler, but he doesn't have anything on Hannibal. You cannot deny the Hannibal was a total Carthaginian badass, just look at him, this mother-blam!-er even used war elephants which were badass as hell.

Simo Häyhä was a Finnish sniper with [u]505 confirmed kills[/u] over a 15-year span. This was all done with an old modified Mosin-Nagant rifle (you can pick one up at Big5 for $100-$200 with a sling and bayonet) and [i]iron sights[/i]. He stood 5'3" tall and focused on staying as invisible as possible. One of his many tactics involved packing his mouth with snow to cover up steam coming from his breath. He was eventually shot in the face, but did not die from the wound. [i] When asked if he regretted killing so many people, he said, "I only did my duty, and what I was told to do as well as I could." [/i] He died in 2002 at the ripe old age of 96.

Simo Häyhä The Finn fought for the Finnish Army during the Finland-Soviet Union Winter War between 1939-1940. Of course, being named the Winter War, and being fought in northern Finland, the temperatures were anywhere from a brisk -4 Fahrenheit to an unbearably cold -40 Fahrenheit. And yet, Häyhä, dressed in white, snow colored camouflage, set out alone every day for nearly 100 days to kill members of the Red Army. And kill he did. Häyhä has a confirmed sniper kill total of 505 in less than 100 days! Furthermore, Simo Häyhä was old school and only ever employed a bolt-action rifle, without a scope as a sniper. In the context of warfare, and being a sniper, this was truly a remarkable feat.
