Nah the devs deserve massive slight, this game has been nothing but a money grab year after year. Dungeon keys, half baked expansions, silver etc

so if others do it, its fine for one person to do it too? Not only that, but at least other games ship with the transactions that they will have for life, destiny adds on over time to its microtransactions, even then, if it launched at the state it was right now, I do not think it would be very appealing.

The longer an mmo game exists the more likely it is to do this. Heck world of Warcraft even has its own in game eververse with monthly checklist challenges now. PEOPLE LOVE IT the destiny community is full of casual single players and shooter mains who have no clue what an mmo is. They think it means endless open world.

No, it's like going to mcdonalds to complain that it's not a michelin star restaurant Regularly people here ask for things that are likely just not possible, and then complain when their obscene expectations are not met. Not to say there's nothing worth complaining about, or that the devs can't give us anything that we ask for, but there's a limit and this forum often crosses it.

I don’t think you guys realize that as far as mmos go, this is by far the cheapest and most consumer friendly. Especially for people on console who have a mandatory subscription to play games online, like PS+. Other mmos are way worse with their cash shops and loot boxes. Even if their monthly subscription is “Optional”, you soon realize it isn’t really optional. In the end Destiny is overall cheaper in comparison, and it’s about to be even more consumer friendly because they’re no longer doing paid seasons or dungeon keys.

This👆 My brother tried to get me to try WoW a long while back… I balked at the price and grind he described. Played Neverwinter for a bit… never paid and it ran out of interesting things to do Love single player Final Fantasy but after watching a little gameplay of FF14, it’s just not for me. Destiny is a great balance of mmo lite attributes with good action/gameplay of a shooter. It’s why it’s stayed pretty popular over the years despite all the doomsaying (a lot of game would love it’s sustainable numbers). How they transition out of the Light/Dark saga into something else over the next year will be interesting.

You going up into Wendy’s saying… “Y’all greedy -blam!- should be giving us these burgers for free cause we the reason y’all even able to make the burgers…” That’s the freaking attitude of a lot of the comments I see on here. $100 for the year of Destiny content with the amount of time and entertainment I get out of it is by far the cheapest of my entertainment expenditures for the year… it’s like $8 a month.

I feel that’s more of an issue with the executives than an issue with the devs themselves. Anyway I do agree with you, the greed just kept increasing over here years. We get less stuff than before yet the amount of things Bungie wants people to buy has increased massively.

You do know that the content pass for the year is basically $20 cheaper than previous years right? And that separate payments for dungeon keys will no longer be a thing?
