In the season of Arrivals finale, we see all species of sol worshiping the pyramids , including Humans, which all came true, except Humans Each Species had factions that saw the Witness has the stronger/winning side , except Humans And look at our history, when Germany invaded France at the start of WW2, no matter how obviosly bad the situation was, some French citizens sided with there German occupiers In Season Of Splicer, there were guardians pledged to FWC and NM, do you think all of them would unanimously automatically side with Ikora and aid in there factions Exile, no, the situation would have exploded, and led to more guardians and ghosts dying than Crota managed to kill, along with untold collateral fatalities in the city, infact I think that was Savathuns goal, make us eat each other and we wouldn't notice her slipping away with the Traveler But Because Bungie is afraid if we kill Humans in PvE, they will get hit with the M rating, and got to keep there Eververse cash cow open to the Fortnight crowd, we just fight the same tired loop of enemies

  • The game from the get go is about Humans fighting Aliens, and protecting humanity So Fighting humans just isn't really in the agenda. It kinda goes against the whole vibe. Only time we actually had gameplay fighting a 'human', was when we killed those siva infested bodies of Iron Lords.

Except Humans killing Humans is scattered throughout the Lore Who do you think the Iron Lord's fought ?, not just Eliksni, they formed to take down the Warlords holding there light over the innocent Dredgen Yor vs Jaren Ward, because Yor was corrupted , and was killing Guardians And a more recent example, The Guardian/Petra vs Uldren Sov, because Uldren murdered Cayde 6 and an untold number of Awoken So this game has never fit your clean little nieve viewpoint of fighting the good fight for a unified humanity , we have "Alien" allies now, and Season Of Splicer was about protecting those "Aliens" from I'll intended Humans, and I wouldn't think twice about pulling the trigger on a human attempting to harm a house of light member And do you think Halo was just about fighting Aliens ?, The Spartan program was formed to kill Human insurrectionists who didn't fall in line , before we even knew what the covenant was

Iron Lords explained where the Warlords went - Dead, to explain away bad lightbearers Dredgen story finished back in forsaken to write out another group of bad lightbearers. With the Shadows of Yor disbanding since the founder did the job of removing corruptible guardians. The lore has provided reasons why we won’t see Guardians as antagonists. It’s why we got Lightbearers Hive, not only to do something new with Hive - but to also have antagonist lightbearers with big hit boxes. Without having to kill humans. Sure there is human conflict in the lore, but it’s not going to be introduced into gameplay for the simple reason that Bungie made a game to kill aliens. We have Eliksni allies, but we still kill Fallen. Same with Cabal. Notice that the alliance never gave reason to remove the from the sandbox - because we need stuff to shoot. Shooting humans is not what they got in mind for our guardians doing. Forsaken literally had us hunting down Uldren Sov and still no human boss fight. Instead we faced a big orb monster servant of Riven. In Halo is there a mission ever in any of the games where we go shooting humans? No Even in Halo 4, those guys are long dead and turned into monstrous machines. Like the Siva iron lords.

Notice you completely dodged the Faction Exile , and the larger plotline of Splicer , oh and Mya is still out there , as well as the Concordat , that was exiled after the first faction Civil War I will also add Mass Effect into the mix, the game overall is about saving Humanity, but there are still bad Human actors Shepard has to remove(Cerberus) It's just unrealistic to think a faction of Humans wouldn't side with darkness , and just because it hasn't happened, doesn't mean it doesn't need to happen to give the game new life and make it more interesting , besides , red and purple Cabal, Purple or Blue Eliksni, Scorn Eliksni Skin, and Taken, which is like the flood, a Mashup of all species, one of the things that makes the game boring Ps, Techeuns are also Humans, and are bosses in 2 raid and a strike encounter, but we don't technically kill them, we save them, by shooting them in the face

Faction exile removed the faction story that was basically useless and went nowhere. That’s a prime example of bungie literally writing out a faction conflict. Also notice how that season culminated in a fight with Vex and not humans? Maya Sundaresh became the Conductor and all we fight are Vex. Mass Effect isn’t relevant to the discussion because it not Bungie Techeuns were saved, note that we didn’t kill them - because it would go against the tone of the game for us to be killing humans in gameplay. So I really don’t see it happening where we are shooting even more humans in the face only that time we wouldn’t be saving them. Is it unrealistic that a faction wouldn’t side with the darkness? Sure - but this is a game about shooting aliens, so Bungie will write lore that justifies why it never happens. Like they did with Shadows of Yor. Like Elsie who has worked to prevent a dark future where humans side with darkness. They have made every attempt to provide explanations of why we are not going out of our way to kill humans. We’ll be seeing another group of humans in the upcoming expansion so maybe they’ll do something different then - but considering the T for teen rating, and the developers stated that the Vex are going to be the primary threat we focus on, I doubt we’ll see any gameplay which shows us shooting humans

  • Techeuns are Awoken and were Taken. We have tons of examples of the forces of humanity turning to the darkness and abandoning the light. But, that's not the focus of the game. We've seen glimpses, and that's fine. But, what you're asking for is not within the scope of the game. Your points are valid but weak.
