Ever since I got iron lord I'm losing games over & over & over, I'm losing every 1v1 instantly Vs people who simply don't miss headshots, ever. I'm not the best granted but I've played shooters for many many years & I know when I'm playing people way better than me, like oh I damage a guy so he does 13 backflips, dissapears behind me. 1 shots me & moves on. Or I shoot a guy with mida & I'm dead before I can fire my 2nd shot. I'm playing people with quad 100 builds & 3000 flawless emblems, unbroken with 5kdrs across years who live in PvP.
Last week was fun, if I shot a guy he usually died,I won 100 games over the week, this week I can use a lmg into a guy's back & he'll suddenly turn & 1 tap me, yet he has an lmg & as soon as i see him I die.
A quick at destiny tracker was very very eye opening & explains a lot.
Last week 1.36 kd 1.95 kda
This week 0.15 kd 1.00 kda
My kd in momentum is 1.95, mayhem 1.45, control 1.25, trials 0.57 but only played a few games for a triumph, all exactly 50% loss. I'm playing games now & getting 0 kills, at all, 0, & losing almost every game.
My last 10 games show my opponent teams win %
96%
85%
88%
90%
88%
76%
95%
90%
88%
98%
I'm being forced into losses, even in some games I'm getting 0 kills I'm finishing top of lobbies,I was topping 1 lobby & we were losing 38-78, I got back in the lobby twice & the score changed to 38-98 then 38-118, they didn't score a single point after I left. I'm now starting games & instantly can see we are gonna lose so I leave, & when I look back that team lost of course but had 9-10-11 players as others left too.
I've no idea what's going on or what's changing but this is demoralising & I genuinely feel like wiping everything & playing other games :( this is absolutely a skill issue, no question, but it wasnt last week (to this extent) there's also something nefarious going on in the background, no games should EVER have 12 solo guys & 1 team have a 90% win chance, & this wasn't a 1 off.
I've started to try to gild the seal, a seal I'll never use, so I'll keep trying until it's done but my god it's miserable & could result in me deleting everything before I get there.

1 ResponderI am 100% with you on this. It’s not just IB; it’s all of PvP. These wacked out lobbies just make everyone experiencing the darker side of the BS want to quit period. After soo many cries nothing was done. Nothing of meaning. Now that it’s all or bust they want to listen. It may be to little for to long making it to late to make a change. I just don’t get why we have to wait so long for MM changes. We are tired of it now so drop the changes now. The longer players wait the closer they get to walking out the door. Hell most already have one foot out the door. Might as well do it now.

1 ResponderDon't blame the matchmaking when there are things you can change to improve your odds of winning. There is no need to rely on Bungie to make it easy on you. Not all players lose. A lot of players win almost every game. How do they do it? Here are some basic tips I think are helpful: 1) Group with a fireteam (one focused on winning) 2) Use a good loadout (prioritize Recovery, then Mobility if you're a Hunter or Resiliance if a Titan... Use targeting, unflinching, and dexterity mods) 3) Learn maps and common areas to challenge (which lanes are sniper lanes) 4) Learn how to predict movement / pre-aim (head height or crouch height) 5) Learn weapons and their ranges (identify them by sound and fire rate, so you know whether you can win) 6) Learn how fast health recovers (so you know whether you have more health or they do) 7) Learn to use radar / map to identify location & number (radar tells number of enemies and height... map awareness means you can combine it to know where exactly the enemies are) 8) Learn to slide corners (or jump if they're close-range) 9) Learn how to use sound to track movement early (icarus dash, blink, hunter jump all make noise) 10) Learn spawn points and what causes spawn flips (so you can spawn trap and prevent spawn traps) 11) Learn to use abilities effectively and pick a subclass that supports your playstyle (if you operate in close range, use a subclass that helps with that playstyle.. Same for long-range)

4 RespostasWelcome to engagement based match making. i really don't think it is skilled based do to how lopsided some games go if anything they are doing what act is doing and i think they need to take it up the -blam!-

1 ResponderWelcome to the 50/50, 40/60 forced win/loss algorithm that they refuse to change. This + the horrid lobby balancing formula that avoids making everyone in the lobby actually even and balanced to some degree is why I pretty much quit pvp nearly entirely unless I absolutely want to keep up with an ib gild. I used to play a ton of pvp, and just stopped after realizing how manipulative and unfair the matchmaking is in all of pvp. It'll never be good no matter how many changes or rebalances they make until they address those 2 core problems.

1 ResponderEditado por WifeAggro_AFK: 1/26/2025 5:53:27 PMIf those are your win % you need to break up the algorithm. Team up with someone for a game or two that doesn’tt pvp much.

3 RespostasTry playing the top 2000 players in comp every other game ☹️

3 RespostasGood for you for still using mida, respect lol

1 ResponderAs a mayhem enthusiast I understand your pain. The game modes that don’t have SBMM have team balancing. The more you win, the more you get punished. My expectations are low for blue berries anyway, however some players are just bots. Had a blue berry once rocking helm of saint - 14 on Solar subclass. These are the kinda guys I get 😂😂
