Just a food for thought post.
We've had the single element system for years and with the introduction of prismatic I feel they could do a step more with our legendary weapons.
+ I would love to see the reintroduction to the elemental weapon mods back in Year 1. Being able to change the element type of our gun was a unique feature.
Weapons can still maintain their static elemental affinity (Ex: Heliocentric being a solar sidearm at base.) But now we have the option to have solar, strand, void, arc, stasis weapon mods. so now our example: Heliocentric can be a solar & arc sidearm with voltshot & incandescent or heal clip & voltshot.
This type of infusion would be done through the enclave through reshaping like any other crafted weapon.
And most if not all of the subclass verb perks hold no weight over the crucible sandbox, so this would purely be for PvE and making the sandbox feel more fun and fresh again.
What do you guys think?
