Honestly it’s insane thinking back on how little warlocks actually had in D1. Wild even that all the way back then, Warlocks only had being in the air forever as a defining class trait, and they still went and gave titans the air dodge exotic lol

Weren't Warlocks the absolute pve meta with the only competition being a single bubble Titan being on the team? And in pvp Warlocks, Hunters, and Titans each had powerful abilities.

In D1?!? Absolutely not. Maybe d1y1 you could make an argument for multiple self res warlocks in a scuffed raid run, but as soon as hunters got tether, warlocks got phased out entirely unless you wanted a target dummy with self res. They didn’t even have a niche til half way through y3 when viking funeral got changed to a debuff effect. And even then, that was after they ruined blink, gutted stormcaller and made burn pretty trash for pvp. I’m tellin ya. People hated on D2Y1, but warlocks were eatin good gettin to have some role in raids again with shadow room arc souls
