Class Item Sold with Expansion....No Mention of "NOT FOR SOLO PLAYERS" #Boycott Bungie
Why was this key fact ignored? Could say we have a new item but you cannot go solo? No, you cant say that because that would impact sales numbers. Scammed entire community. Lied to them, deceived them.
Solo players and anyone with a handicap that hinders being able to run this mission need to ask for a refund and boycott this short sighted, single track mind company.

No “key fact” was ignored. Bungie isn’t going to give away information regarding a mission that was designed to be hidden and a surprise for players to find. 2. No one was “scammed, lied to, or deceived”. At no point did Bungie ever state that obtaining the exotic class items could be done solo. You people creating false narratives in your own minds is your own fault. 3. I hate to break it to you but game developers can’t cater to every single type of handicap or mental health issue that any given player may have. Believing they can is both highly unrealistic and entitled. The people who deal with such ailments have to take responsibility for themselves and know their own limitations, they aren’t going to be able to do certain things and that’s just an unfortunate fact of the matter. 4. A lot of items were sold with this expansion but that doesn’t mean you’re going to obtain them without doing the necessary content in order to do so. You paid for access to the content, nothing more. How far you take it rests solely on your shoulders.

7 RespostasBungie’s business culture and model scream inclusivity for only one particular group of hardcore clan/friend group PC player base. Everyone else is excluded. Not surprised given Bungie mimics the current political California culture of the D party.

6 RespostasBungie doesn’t want you to play solo. They are basically spitting in the face of every solo player, which is like 75% of their player base. Kind of a bad business decision, but I’m just a regular person with regular tastes, nothing special or different about me, so I don’t matter.

Knowing this game from D1 and having observed how it has 'evolved' over the years, I am not surprised at all. Plus just look back and see how many times Bungie has demonstrated very little regard for their players. Me? I have learned long ago that this is not a game made to be friendly with solo players. Quite the opposite, in fact. Most quests, I am just either unable or uninterested in completing them. They are not fun for me. I hate jumping puzzles and convoluted mechanics. I cannot be bothered to even try anymore. For what I have seen by watching ppl playing the story missions on YouTube, even the main campaign looks just aggravating and unnecessarily complicated. I already guessed what was coming. That even if I purchased TFS, I would be able to play only a fraction of it. So, I didn't pre-order it. I thought that, at the very least, I would wait and see, watch YouTube videos of how it looks like, come to the forum and listen to ppl's impressions. For what I can see, I am glad I didn't pre-ordered. I have very little interest in any PVE at this point. It stopped being fun a while ago. And it's only going to get less and less enjoyable.

Bungie was hoping that if it forces players to do mechanics that it would lead them to raids. unfortunately if the Mechanics take more then 1 person it becomes a shite show . it's never going to work playing with people you don't really know,and in this day and age it isn't a safe option. truth

Take a deep breath. Load up one of the many lfgs that exist for this game. Just try it. I promise lfg isn’t scary. It’s a cool activity and the mechanics are not difficult. (Every mechanic introduced in this game isn’t difficult, it’s just “stand here” and “shoot there”)

They never said you could get it solo (they never even advertised the mission now that I think about it. Just the exotic). You assumed that so that’s honestly on you. It’s honestly justified given that it’s literally 2 exotics in 1.

Can you raid solo? No. This is like paying a cover charge at a bar and being surprised you have to spend money on drinks.

Bungie hyped it up in trailers, Vidocs, TWID and they never once mentioned this part. its BS, we all need to voice our thoughts here, on content creators videos (since bungie only listens to them) and vote with wallets and playtime

2 RespostasComplete bait and switch. If I had bought the legendary version I would be raising hell for a refund. I bought the $50 version, but I'm still pissed. The elitists will get bored in less than a month and then the solo players that prop up the game during long stretches will be gone. When the game is good I look forward to Iron Banner and I like to just tool around on the daily. Right now I'm just bored. Haven't even done everything.

11 RespostasOnce again annoying MEchanics have reached OUTSIDE of the RAIDS and DUNGEons Making an Exotic Class Item with no mention of the hoops its gonna take for access - You can make things fun and entertaining without EXCESSIVE jump puzzles, moving walls, strange shapes and images to be shot at, in certain orders, plates, timers - etc. Not all of us have Degrees in Bungie Mechanical Engineering - NOR DO WE WANT ONE KEEP YOUR INDIANA JONES AND LAURA CROFT CRAP TO DUNGEONS AND RAIDS !!!!

Microcosm was also advertised but the hate on that thing is nowhere near as much as this. I consider myself a huge casual solo player and I had no problem finding an LFG and completing the mission. Considering the direction they have taken with the expansion as a whole, this is probably more in line with them taking more creative exploration, I mean just look at the prismatic subclass itself, the amount of cutscenes/lore drops in the campaign alone, etc.

This item has something like 60 different possible combinations. Considering the only ways to farm it is this co-op mission - making it both situational and annoying - or farming chests with terrible drop rates, there should be a better option.. otherwise it's going to be intolerable to farm
