They think intentionally sabotaging d2 is going to drive up buys on marathon. Garbage business.
-
3 RespostasYeah it’s brutal. They’re so stupid. They don’t remember the blowback they got for forcing checkmate down our throats for the first 6 weeks 🤪🤪
-
I think it's a really bad play on bungo. Checkmate is not good enough to be the main pvp it's too much like vanilla d2 which was very boring. Once these changes go live, I think I'm calling it quits. The likely hood of them actually working and being fun is very slim.
-
That TWID was a joke.
-
They missed the mark on why it's so easy to succeed with cheesy stuff in PvP It's not the TTK its optimal versions, but instead it's the insane AA and bullet magnetism D2 has as a basis; it's so easy to hit your shots because the game does it for you, that's why bow swaps are oppressive af I come from many FPS games, PvP oriented ones, and I tell ya — no other game gives you free headshots like Destiny does They have no idea what their PvP needs or how it plays, also the special meter is just a way worse, more artificial and less fun version of D1s special crates lmao, something that was a terrible mechanic at the end of D1s life span

2 RespostasAfter last week outrage and people being very upset which is always funny to read …..but Bungie did it again ?! A lot of players are ready to drop d2 ….Bungie are helping that cause 😂
-
10 RespostasI used to have fun in pvp, but those days are long gone. Only ones left are the addicted and cheats and of course the streamers trying to make some lunch money.
-
19 RespostasPvp has a lot of loyal followers that are just stuck playing . Still play control 24/7 and trials / comp regardless of how bad it is ... Still putting up with all the bs . It’s amazing how destiny has that control over people .
-
1 ResponderIt’s amazing how consistent they are with horrible decisions these last couple years.
-
2 RespostasWell the streamers will be happy. Soon they will only have themselves to um.....play with

3 RespostasEditado por ΞsnΛχΞ: 2/17/2024 7:56:57 AMYeah, it’s ridiculous. It’s the same people who said that Well was OP after 20 nerfs and continue to make the game unplayable for everyone who’s not a full-time streamer. It’s annoying and most of all, it continues to kill the game and the Bungo geniuses don’t get it bc they’re all faded asf…

8 RespostasThey could have given the players options. Instead, it's either this way or no way at all. I don't get why they couldn't give a mode that's gunplay and leave a mode where you can be able to spam abilities? Options bungie, options Oh wait, because the pvp player base will tank once again. I promise you the population will either be the same as now or worse. If they gave options to let those play with ability spam and those who prefer gunplay, I think both parties will mostly be happy. But I guess they put al their eggs in 1 basket. Let's see how long that'll last, lmao. All that work and watch they'll revert or adjust it to where players can ability spam again. Abilities are just as big part of destiny, but guess some don't see it that way

3 RespostasI’m out… but will never give up hope that this could have been one of the greatest games ever (as opposed to what it has collapsed into)
-
I was fine with it being in competitive modes Just not your normal ritual playlists. 🤷

5 RespostasEditado por Avoodle Kadoodle Noodle: 2/17/2024 9:29:28 PMI really find it funny how there were so many posts complaining about ability spam or special weapons spam. There were also people complaining about there being hardly anymore primary play. Now as soon as they start to change things that people have been complaining about it’s apparently an issue. I will never understand people that play this game. Some of you want changes but when they actually do changes you complain. I’m just wondering. People complain about PvP not being in a good spot and that they want changes to it. Then once they actually start doing changes. Those same people complain about said changes. So do you guys actually want them to do changes or not?
-
1 ResponderI remember them saying it wouldn't be all game modes, I guess they were talking about scorched and mayhem. The best way to lie to people is to only tell half the truth.
-
Until the update goes live nobody knows how it will play. Maybe give it a try before passing judgement. It’s a start and change is coming even if we like it or not.

3 RespostasEditado por Epoc: 2/16/2024 4:45:39 PMSometimes they make changes for greed, I am 100% with you, eff Bungie. However these changes I really do think they are trying to improve the game. If you read everything they had to say, it's all about getting, and retaining new pvper's. The people that have hard quit, likely aren't coming back. For the health of the game mode we need more population, (also less cheaters, Gernader offered to to help pay!) and I think that's what they are trying to do here. Now, it can be argued that they aren't doing it correctly, but come on at least let them try. It's better than doing nothing and letting it slip into the void.
-
I’ll reserve judgement until I try it but I’ve hated all the other iterations of checkmate so I’m not getting my hopes up.
-
1 ResponderEditado por Icon: 2/16/2024 1:46:13 AMMy argument is destiny 2 pvp was separated by its unique abilities and movement. With those being pulled in other games will be more appealing to new players, Xdefiant, The finals all games with proper balance and ease of access
-
This game is already in a checkmate. I mean Kaput! You know the game is broken when the guys making it don’t even know what to do with it. Bwahahahahahaha!!! Welcome to hollowness!
-
Gonna be nothing but bows and said arms virtually unplayable
-
2 RespostasWhy would you need Final Shape if looks that all you play is PvP?
-
To each his own. I just preordered because Checkmate was by far the most fun I ever had in ten years of Destiny.
-
You mean, you only play pvp and nothing else? You dont need final shape to play pvp ya know buddy
-
Special ammo change is a bit much, but the rest is generally really reasonable. Abilities deal less % of your total health and you need to be slightly more accurate to land optimal TTKs. If it flops, they have time to revert it before the Final Shape. It’s not the end of the world, it’s the middle ground that Bungie said they were trying to find with Checkmate…
