How about also increasing the max number of wishes from 6 to however many we can get before Final Shape comes out. 6 is far too low.

How about playing the raid?
-
Just make it give out Deepsight Harmonizers so we can use it for whatever guns we want.
-
This would be really nice
-
That too. Just overall seems like 6 rewards over the 5 month total wait or whatever is basically Bungie just being cheap.
-
Give us the ability to craft more than one weapon. You should change it to 6 wishes per character. Getting 18 tokens would let us craft 3 weapons, a reasonable compromise and a way to give us more playing time and something to chase.
-
True that. One problem that I didn't know about however as I only saw it in a post, those who don't have the Forsaken pack can't get use out of the Last Wish craftables. I'm fairly sure even the exoitc armor isn't able to be used without the dlcs they are from. In that case Bungie, how about you cater to the new players coming to the game and make all that stuff free. You already charge quite a high price for ornaments and other cosmetics, yet you are basically forcing new players to pay $300 just to be able to use this stuff. Free event, ha. More like scam event.
-
I was already burned out week one I don't give a -blam!- about this anymore.
-
True that. If they actually gave something worth the player's time, then maybe people wouldn't feel so burnt out and actually be playing instead of player numbers being so low. Last I check Steam had 37 thousand when the highest at a single time was around 300 thousand. Yet Bungie keeps thinking that, 1) Charging about $300 for the game as a whole is still okay despite most of that content either being removed from the game (Forsaken) or just boring to the point of not even worth it. 2) Raising the difficulty of PvE so high that only elitests and tryhards are basically still playing the game. Really shows their whole view is not to please the consumer so they would be more willing to support, but instead to nickle and dime you for everything you got and not care if you are displeased or not.
-
novel idea but lol 15 wishes comes to mind.. then make it per character and maybe we have something....
-
Exactly. 6 wishes just feels like a cheap way of trying to keep players, but it doesn't feel worth it for the most part. If they made it actually worth our time, then it would be much better overall.
-
LEts face it, bungie is hoping to keep some new players because 6 rewards bungie is tossing out.. has nothing for veteran players who have been playing for years.. Quite honestly.. I don't think many of the players in my clan will come back after such a long delay with so much nothing to actually do.
-
A problem there for new players is that even if they were to pick up the exotics, they can't use them. Sure it is a free way to get them instead of Vex Strike Force or Legend/Master Lost Sectors, but they still require the dlc they came from to use them. That is basically forcing them to buy the dlc so their wish use wasn't wasted. It's not enough that overall cost for a new player is $300, but now they are forcing them to make the purchase and that will instead lose them players with that sort of cheap tactic.
-
Not wrong there, however, currently you can buy all things available to play, besides lightfall, for 40 bucks.. still.. another coaxing way to get players to play more.. give them a freereward they cant use.. I have been on every day.. becaseu i'm an idiot lol and even the new lfg in game system is having issues.. namely.. nobody is using it. I am finding times where nobody is raiding any raid, nobody is looking to do a gm, nobody is doing campaing or seasonal stuff.. bungie is loosing its grasp on veterans and never had a hold of new players to begin with. frustrating 4 months ahead for sure.
-
1) That bundle is not included for console. 2) Another part of the problem with LFG is trolls in the community. Even the old LFG system had trolls and a friend of mine has encountered them in every time he used it. Far too many people are expecting people that join to be to the tier of skill as people such as Aztecross, Datto, and such instead of actually be willing to allow lower skill players to join in and experience the activities and grow. Another problem for that is Bungie has bloated difficulty out of the water to the point where things such as Legend or higher difficulties are hell for even myself who has been around since Day 1 of D2 and joined into the series back in Taken King/Rise of Iron on the PS3. Even D1 itself has done difficulty better than this. D2 has become an anti-new player game at this point and a lot of veterans have found Bungie's methods of content to be not fun so it's only been the top .01% of players doing the harder content and PvP players that somehow find matches that don't have hackers are the only people who have truely been sticking around. I play every so often, but I have not been having much fun since Season of the Deep even started.

didn't realize it was only pc players.. total bs to sell the same product at diffrerent prices.. I kind of agree on the difficulty.. its to hard for to many people and makes it unenjoyable As for the skill level.. in a way, i'm torn here. Sometimes I am ok to spend time showing and helping and instructing a weaker player through something. Other times, I have no time and just want to get through it and enjoy playing that content at a high level with other players equal in skill. What I hate is when you ask for KWTD, skill and be able to do it.. and a tier 5 players wants to join.. with blue weapons (exaggerated example) and then complains that I want to play with good players but, won't help him.. weird because he aslo wants to play with good players but, hasn't got the skill to be considered an equal yet. that takes time and effort that many new players I have run into, are not interested in. They want the 45 minute raid and rewards, they don't want or have time for long raids and to learn the mechanics.. and I just find that hard to swallow.

That is part of my issue with the game as well on time. I've done some dungeon runs with friends and we have had problems with the drop rate of ammo even with ammo finders so we take forever to get our heavy or (if we are running one) our special before we even start on a dps phase. As for trying raids and such for us, we use to do them constantly with stuff like Leviathan which not only was a fun raid, but was easy for new players to get into learning raids and understanding mechanics. Now we don't have anything like that and raids are far too complex for newer players. I'm sure some people would say just do Root as it's considered extremely easy, but the problem there is the need for the dlc and it's only worth buying the dlc if you also have the season pass making the price go up by either buying silver or just buying the $100 bundle of it. I've said this in another forum, but Bungie could really learn a few things for making a free to play model from DE and their game Warframe. I know Warframe has crafting times that can be sped up by paying real money, but that is an option, not a forced part of the game. Even Prime Warframes can be obtained for free. The main source of their income is primarily is from their cosmetics and any ship decorations. There are even some cosmetics made by the community that has some of the money spent on those items going to the creators. Talk about supporting your community.

Have you heard of rally banners?
-
What about it?
-
You say you have no heavy ammo but honestly I don't see how Maybe use special on majors instead of heavy
-
I am meaning ammo drops. I manage to throw all my Heavy and even my special when that runs out, but the next time I do a damage phase, ammo just never drops for me. Rally Banners can only be used once before you start the dungeon.
-
Depending on your class, there are so many good ability builds you could be using For example; Titan -> Navigator grapple melee, synthoceps flechette storm Warlock -> Sunbracers, needlestorm Hunter -> Star eater blade barrage/gathering storm, celestial nighthawk These should do enough damage that you dont really need to use all your heavy
-
I don't have Navigator or good stats on my armor. The only high stat I have is Resilience and that is with all 5 pieces having a +10 which takes up 4 mod energy. The energy crap is honestly dumb with this limit of 10.
-
raid armor generally drops with high stats as for the navigator, no way to help you there
-
Haven't been able to do raids. Either the people in my group are not on at a good time or some people don't have the dlc considering how much Bungie charges for it. Before anyone suggest LFG, I've never found that to be a good solution and one of my friends has had multiple bad experiences with trolls so definently not.

VOG is the easiest raid in the game and also free
