Bungie would never do this because if they did everyone would just use scout rifles and bows. One thing everyone should know is range is power in destiny 2, as it was in Destiny 1. There is a reason why anti-barrier scout rifle is pretty much loved by everyone. When you give players the ability to just play at range it breaks the game. A Weapon like wish ender I give a pass to because it's exotic, which means no weapon mods and it takes up your exotic slot. Also, it's already got anti- barrier on it so you can't use it for anything else and it's very slow firing do to it being a bow. It may deal high damage, but it does it slowly. Wish ender is an exotic it should be powerful and somewhat OP. I mentioned wish ender here do to it being a powerful anti-champion ranged weapon. Legendary weapons should not have all anti-champion mods available all the time. Bungie, designs the artifact this way so you can't just use the same loadouts all the time. Meta's exist to keep things fresh each season. If we did not have meta's then we would have the stale D1 meta all the time. D1 meta= everyone using an explosive round scout rifle an ex-machina sniper rifle and a war path rocket launcher with tracking and cluster bombs. How original. Remember RANGE IS POWER!!!

You don’t have to use the artifact mods to use anti champ mods You don’t even have to use weapons to stun any champion You mentioned glaives being your favorite weapon. You can 100% use glaive in any content and still deal with champions Learn to play the game before crying like this

All the issues this IP has, this would be a huge waste of resources and time right now. When the game starts producing meaningful content and core-game content updates , then we can discuss smaller insignificant issues that improve QOL. The game is in a spiraling, flaming nose dive and you’re complaining about the quality of the inflight meal.
