Put regular Control back in as the permanent option. You can put Checkmate in its own weekly rotation. I'm not playing PvP(aside from Iron Banner) until regular Control returns.

I think the TWID said that. Checkmate is going to be the main game mode for the next 5 weeks, after its control and checkmate as the side option again.

There appears to be a lot of people that feel this way tbh. Not exactly sure what mode they're supposed to be doing bounties and stuff in. Even relic was pretty high octane. Some of us are going to have a real hard time saying comp isn't about to be prime pvp player real estate if it continues is this direction. So it would be hard to let that go. If you're a pvp player we definitely have to be mindful of the Neomuna Blender Drop of 2023. People should not be supporting repeating that under any circumstances. The casuals or whatever you want to call them spoke pretty hard about being made to do something they didn't want to do on that one. PvP will get blamed for all kinds of things if that population doesn't go up by next week or sooner it seems.

I just don't appreciate Bungie trying to force players into their experimental Playlist. They could have easily kept regular Control available and no one would complain. Those who want to play Checkmate can run it and those who don't can stay pat. Commonsense is in short supply with those making these decisions 🤔

All I know is that with this game throughout it's history, if casuals show up to a playlist or looking for a particular playlist and they start bouncing out of it, the weather for the whole PVP can start to change sometimes. Trials tends to be subject to its own weather patterns. I do not know how that happens, but it does appear to be very population dependent. Checkmate is a very weird thing in terms of who's really running that and what it's really doing. Sometimes it's scary. The one thing about the little bitty Shoguns of the people is that they have to realize that some of the really bigger badder stronger Shoguns' style is to let the smaller Shogun put the muzzle on its own face. Then they might still end up slicing you to pieces anyway. Control should probably be where it belongs quickly. Because pvp players have become jaded you can see why there would be an attempt to wait five weeks to see if the player population goes up. But my guess would be you're not going to be given that five weeks or probably should at least act like it. The PVP fortress can be reduced to rumble in an instant. Or it can be one of those things where it looks like pvp but the weather sucks. For some odd reason.

Editado por A_mo: 12/1/2023 11:09:40 PMI can't not say that I was expecting it???? And then I looked for it and then what I really did was think of, well some of these modes are heavily sbmm. And comp has that hardcore sbmm (and three people at a time to do bounties against, like elim, which who knows how that's really working, I'm honestly afraid to try) so people will at least be chased into one of those until control rotates in or they fix the control node bug. I was very perplexed as a pvp player at what really was happening those first few days. Control just has always been the playlist with the most people in it anyway.
