Do you Rumble?
If not, why not?
I read so many complaints about matchmaking, lobby balancing, lack of freelance, teamshooting and camping.
In Rumble, you’re in control of your own performance and result. If I get matched up against amazing players, I just aim to finish as high as possible and try to learn from them.
There are plenty of 1v1s (although there is an element of chaos to contend with) and camping is rarely a good tactic.
In my opinion, it’s the most competitive mode for solo queue players and should have some kind of event to recognise this.

5 RespostasPvP is dead. Rumble is the top 2 players fighting it out on who can spawn trap the bottom 4 players.

1 ResponderIt’s great for farming core playlist drops and getting the ritual weapon for the season. Most matches are over in five mins. Tbh I’m not even a fan of pvp lol, I am a fan of getting more drops for my time though.

1 ResponderI love rumble. In my opinion it’s the best PvP game mode aside from trials based on my preference. Because there’s always a good gun fight to be found, whether that’s a 1v1 or a 1v5. You never really know what you’re going to find in rumble. And that’s a big reason for why I find it so exciting.

2 RespostasNo. Not interested in being spawn camp bait for a pair of sweat lords. Maybe if it was sbmm. That would be fun. I think rumble would be the ultimate form of competitive in a ranked ladder system. No getting carried. No getting screwed by teammates who leave. No playing gigga chads when you are on the bottom rung. Playing other players close in Rank would give some semblance of sbmm as you move up the ladder. Easy way to assign points based on your finish placement rather then just win or loss. This needs to happen.

There's no SBMM, so it's usually only 2 decent players per game 4. You will be 3rd-partied. Sometimes, enemies even spawn right behind you 5. It's just as "lucky" as the team modes. (You can match against good or bad players) 6. Camping spawn is a viable strategy in Rumble, unlike most other modes Finally, I just prefer playing D2 with a team. Strategizing to beat a team that is better on paper is always a great feeling. I don't feel the same sense of accomplishment playing Rumble.

1 ResponderI don’t. The meta of rumble kind of doesn’t appeal to me, a lot of fusion and smg aping as well as other ‘cheap’ (just my opinion) ability tactics. However, I do agree that anyone complaining about being a solo in a team game and not be represented enough should play more rumble. I actually recommended an end game rumble mode on the level of trials for a truly solo experience.

Lobby balancing is still a part of rumble. Team shooting is still a part of rumble. Camping still a part of rumble. That just leaves “Lack of freelance” that rumble tackles.

1 ResponderI don’t play it, unless I pick up a daily bounty that needs me to complete a match. I much prefer playing Control. It is more fun, for me at least, and fits how I want to play.

1 ResponderI don’t. Because I don’t enjoy it. Most probably because I’m not that good in PvP and prefer objective based modes. That way I can kill people distracted by other players or the objective. 😀

1 ResponderI thought they should try a Rumble Iron banner. The real problem with Rumble is the lack of players. I have fun, but many times I'm facing players that are way better than me. It's often hard to get matches where people are at a similar level. There are either noobs or gods. It's also a fun mode to play with friends. I like to meet at the heavy cause it an easy spot to find. I might take a beating but I might also pick up a few things along the way. Also crossplay lag is real even in this mode. I also like that the matches are generally pretty short and you don't waste a lot of time trying to track down appoints or running circles around the map.

14 RespostasI played rumble a lot with a 3 man fireteam. Was always fun competing against each other. Have played arround 10 matches since bungie changed it to solo only.
