Hey there. This is normal, seasonal bounties usually disappear when their season ends.
War Table bounties disappeared when Season of the Deep began, and Sonar Station bounties have disappeared now we're in Season of the Witch.
I believe Season of the Haunted was the only recent exception to this.

Ok. There’s a weekly challenge for the sonar station that requires 8 bounty completions. That’s why I was a bit confused.

Ah yeah I see what you mean. A previous season's challenges usually get removed too, that one must have been overlooked.
