Editado por Scratch: 8/20/2023 12:11:48 PMPut this way. Monty Carlo has a bayonet on the gun. But.... The cat Does Not allow you to use the bayonet at the end of your gun AS a bayonet on the end of your gun. Say, for example there were no bayonet at the end of your gun and the catalyst would allow you to: Meet certain conditions Press and hold X Which would form a 'space magic' bayonet at the end of your gun After using would disappear. Then: That would kinda make sense. BUT The way it looks like it'll work will be: You'll be holding a gun with a bayonet You'll find yourself in a situation where you need to use the bayonet at the end of your gun AS a bayonet at the end of your gun. But WON'T be able to use the bayonet at the end of your gun as a bayonet on the end of your gun because you haven't met the conditions(charge, hold X) to use the bayonet at the end of your gun as a bayonet at the end of your gun.. That seems...... Silly Seems.....Unexpected.

What's a situation I'd need the bayonet for that a charged or even uncharged melee couldn't solve..?

Q: Why would you ever punch something if there's a bayonet at the end of your gun? A: Because the bayonet is not 'ready' to be used as a bayonet yet. Wouldn't it make more sense if, while holding a gun with a bayonet, every time you press your uncharged melee(your punch) you use the bayonet INSTEAD of punching. Isn't that the whole 'point' of a bayonet?

No. Otherwise we'd hit enemies with our guns like certain shooters do for melee. Destiny never worked like that. Monty's new attack is an easter egg function if anything and you overthinking it is really irrational.
