The state of the game shows how out of touch you are. Been playing since D1 release and now I won't even finish the seasonal ranks. Long time players like myself are abandoning the game.
It's sad, we all see how good this game could be, and once was. Not now, not in the last few years.
Over monetization, abandoning core playlists, sunsetting. You can't make ritual armour but you can fill eververse, not that armour matters, other than resilience and recovery.
It's sad, the community has tons of grest ideas, and their comments are on the mark.
Corporate greed has killed this game, and this year there are tons of other games we are playing and will play.
We know you have your own plans and direction, but ignoring the core game that allowed your studio to flourish, will be the end of Destiny 2.

8 RespostasThey are just not good at game development. Everything is too hard for them. I agree with them just look at the issues(most developer induced) unbalance and overall health of the game. I do appreciate the honesty that they don’t know what they are doing.
-
The writing has been on the wall for years.
-
Of course they are out of touch. They don’t even know how to make a game. They can’t even overdeliver on their only running game. They complained about making content is hard. Now they are still complaining about making content is hard but using different words with a twist. 🤣 Laughable! Game is a failure. So are they who made it. Complete failure! Absolutely nothing here but a shamble mess of shallowness!🤣
-
the director of D2 told you that they don’t have funds for content! don’t expect something to happen, they spat in your face again saying that it won’t be what you want…
-
This game is so bad.. I also have played since vanilla D1 and my god how this game has fallen… I gave this stupid bonfire BS one more go and immediately quit and didn’t pick it up again. The recycling and 0 effort this game gives.. I can’t bring myself to do that again. It’s BORING!? Who tf thins a video game should be boring?! From a AAA company?! COME ON!!!! I remember back in the day when bungie employees were actually in the forums reading and replying and seemingly listening. They stopped that long ago though and clearly never looked back. My friends and were just reminiscing about the good days of D1 when trials was actually fun and the rewards for all activities were actually rewarding.. when the PVE content like raids or POE were usually a bit different but still exciting and fun to play with friends.. the whole feel of D1 vs D2.. you could really tell when D2 dropped so did the fun. And since it’s been Grind Grind Grind Grind and ZERO fun. The games a chore. Bungie is dead.

2 RespostasThe second they left Halo to 343, they stopped caring. About us, about their games, Everything except themselves and money
-
5 RespostasThey're out of touch. I'm out of time.
-
4 Respostasthey always have been. they are more concerned with being activists than fixing the game.
-
2 RespostasThey have never and will never care about their players.
-
They don't care. Find another game.

1 ResponderInteresting, because they were out of touch way before D2 launched and the base game was all the proof needed. So what has changed in the last 6+ years with them?
-
Honestly, the best thing we can do is not support Marathon. The company's number one goal is profitablity. No one wants to work hard and lose money. Even if the game receives great reviews, I wouldn't bend. When this happens you'll have a voice. Convince your fellow guardian that a financial boycott is the way. Good luck.

5 RespostasBro we have been giving feedback for YEARS. They are going to do what they want. They don't care about you unless you have deep pockets.

1 ResponderHow can Bungie be out of touch with the community when the community does not know what it wants. People have asked for stuff but when Bungie introduced it others complained and want it removed. Every change people have asked for and Bungie did just resulted in others complaining about it. So until the community decides what they want Bungie will be "out of touch" with another part of the community as far as some people are concerned.
-
2 RespostasI do agree with Paul Tassi's comments online. The fact there's no investment in Gambit, because there's not much interest in it, is pure nonsense. Granted not a lot of people want to play a gauntlet mode (many don't like to "race" to victory), but Crucible is part of this argument as well. There are ways to continue PvP development without doubling their team. Hiring a half dozen fresh employees to create new/adapt current multiplayer maps for Destiny 2 is not hard; the studio just doesn't want to do it themselves anymore, and they obviously don't want others to do it either, and are simply afraid to admit that.
-
Nah, these morons are out of touch with reality.
-
3 RespostasWhich community? There's about 50 different ones 🤣
-
Lmao I was hit with a code of conduct for “harassment and bullying” when I pointed out no evidence and told the guy to grow a spine lol.
-
If their argument is their resources are spread thin maybe they shouldn't have started development of a new game until the one that's made them all their money was completed. Especially for final shape being the finale of the first story arc it should have been all hands on deck to go out with a bang

5 RespostasEditado por illz: 8/11/2023 1:05:33 AMI saw this coming from the second they got out of their activision deal. Shadowkeep was the biggest red flag and it has all been down hill since then. The level that forsaken set and the year following was never going to be achieved again and witchqueen is only admired because it was flanked by beyond light and lightfall, two lacklustre releases that had god awful raids that were too easy… and ended up gutting core modes instead of adding to them (removing 12 pvp maps, removing gambit prime, removing strikes). Seasonal content is shallow, has been shallow and always will be shallow. People who gas light you into: ‘you are burned out’, ‘the game is 10 years old, take a break’. Im a grown man, im intelligent, critical yet objective. I’m not emotional, delusion or complaining because my reality sucks. I want what is best for the game and while i’m no developer- I am somebody with thousands of hours of experience within the game and within multiple communities. I know what has made the game worse, similarly- what has made it better. Destiny got turned into a cash cow when bungie went independent and only now is a shared awakening to this occurring. Many of us arent emotionally attached to the game and are capable of seeing it for what it is. More power to those who are thriving in the new model but it would be utterly undeniable to argue that lightfall or final shape will be of the calibre of forsaken. The state of the game and community reactions to it are valid and there is no bandwagon. The writing has been on the walls. It is plastered in front of your face. If you enjoy watching a game fall from grace while charging you more for less content and try spin it as a good thing then that is completely fine. Just dont expect many of us to share that or find peace in it. Like many i accepted the fate of this franchise in between shadowkeep and beyond light with every further release cementing the fact that we are ultimately being strung along in order to fund a buyout from either microsoft or sony. The bag is secure and theyre doing the bare minimum now. I mourn for those naive enough to still have the passion we all once had. Your hopes will no doubt be shattered. Destiny 2 forsaken era was lightening in a bottle. I have 0 faith in marathon. Its fast food gaming from here on out. The utter disregard for player concern and sentiment in the latest state of the game has placed bungie alongside ubisoft and ea for me. Lets not forget the ‘we make sure we dont over deliver’ presentation. Its just wholly ironic. Look at how halo 2 and 3 are remembered and look at halo infinite now. That is not a case of burn out, that is what mismanagement and not listening to players does. A story that could write itself on paper, yet greed and disillusionment can achieve seemingly impossible things. How can you mess something up so bad. When all of the pieces you needed were right in front of you? Destiny 2 will be remembered as the game that could have been forever. I dont feel hate for the game or for bungie, i only came here to check out the dev update and logged on today to speak to a couple clan mates that still play. Ive moved on to better titles such as valorant and apex. Good luck bungie, A player with 3x day 1 raids and 366,000 pvp kills. Probably close to 10k hours over the past 9/10 years across both games.

I will finish out D2, but I won't be following Bungee on to Marathon or any other new Destiny stuff. I'm just apathetic to anything else moving forward. I'm playing other games and enjoying them. This should eventually make into some sort of history lesson on how to ruin your IP franchise in under 4 years.
-
Cool so your still gonna keep playing right?
