Pretty sad state of the game guys. The "we cannot over-deliver" qoute is one of the worst quotes I have ever heard anyone from any company ever make regarding their product. The reverberations of that quote are showing in todays dead state of the game. I Bet that it's not fun to work at Bungie anymore, it looks like the corporate lizards have sucked the life out of the people they put on the latest pannel and replaced them with "real-dolls" governed by a ChatGPT interface.
The only thing that could save the game is if they had new content EVERY week. This dead period that the game goes through every 3 months is completely unacceptable. They have now made a paywall for new shaders, and are planning on taking away the seasonal armor. Do you see what is going on here? More and more things are being taken from the game and being put behind a paywall. Sure, they don't impact gameplay (for now)..... but they added value to the game, that value is being taken away and locked up only for those with enough disposable income to enjoy all the suff we used to get included! And remember this is all just DIGITAL goods.... its not even REAL assets, its just licenses for digital goods.
In the end, the game should be what matters, the game quality! And the quality in comparison with other games is lacking right now. The maps seem small, the graphics are not on par, the enemies are old and their AI is really bad, the game is suffering, and so people are leaving. My whole clan is never online!
Bungie is "quiet quitting" on faithful players who have stuck with them for more than a decade.
The one-way conversation continues....

I guess we will find out when Joe Blackburn starts streaming his own gameplay live next season. Bold move on his part- curious to see how that plays out

7 RespostasHaving content every week wouldn't change anything. The amount of content doesn't make a game as anyone can clearly see just pumping out content as they have been doing is why the game is in the very poor state it is in. The quality of most of the content in this game is bad, and that is where the problem actually is.
-
Heck, they can’t do squat anymore! They can’t make a videogame. They can’t even overdeliver in their only single running game. They complain about making content is hard. Now they’re complaining again about making content is still hard but using different words with a little twist. 🤣 LAUGHABLE! The game is a failure! They are failing. COMPLETE FAILURE! 🤣 Absolutely nothing here but a shamble mess of shallowness!🤣

4 RespostasI like that they are talking "we can't over-deliver" when they aren't even just delivering at this point.
-
8 RespostasThe current employees are too busy playing musical pronouns to be concerned with the game.
-
No but……… moneyyyyyyyy
-
Simple answer, no. Real answer, Bungie hasn't been on the right track since the launch of Forsaken and it's showing.
-
1 ResponderThey changed their motto.
-
Nope. I don't believe a single employee has any passion for this franchise anymore.

Editado por More Power: 8/9/2023 4:03:21 PMPlaying the game a certain number of hours a week should be an employee requirement - every employee. This way, they would get real-time in-house feedback concerning important things like pve difficulty and PvP matchmaking. Bungie would also get in-house feedback on guns/gear sunsetting and obsolescence, because each employee would experience the loss of their hard earned stuff. But… I suspect few employees play the game. That’s the problem with Destiny.

There is no way in hell that anyone that is truly busy at bunji plays this game.

3 RespostasEditado por Avelithe: 8/8/2023 8:08:00 PMI wish they would overdeliver. I wish they would have the guts to go above and beyond and do something truly wild and incredible. They’ve proven themselves that they’d rather go the safe route and earn themselves an average 6 out of 10 on most review sites, because that is “safe” and will guarantee them sales. I sincerely wish they loved their game, because if they loved it like they say they do, then we wouldn’t have the corporate, soulless, half-hearted mess we have now. This has been my ongoing perspective for years.

2 RespostasI’m pretty disconnected with the game developer world, but this “not enough resources” phrase to me just sounds like it’s more that they don’t want to sacrifice money away from their new project, and they just simply don’t want to put in enough effort. They’re not exactly hemorrhaging money with them sitting on billions of dollars. And they’d make plenty of money if they actually fixed the antiquated game that lies dead and bloated before us. What else can be said that hasn’t already been screamed hundreds of times by every player and Destiny YouTuber?
-
No. Bungie rely on data analytics in order to make design decisions. The fun part was taken out years ago.
-
Bungie doesn’t care anymore. More and more sweats are becoming casuals and then just fading away because we’ve realized that this game is just a tremendous waste of time and a tragic example of wasted potential.

I remember an old dev video. It was a glorious video, one of the game devs had TLW equipped and was trying to equip another exotic weapon due to thinking you could have multiple exotics equipped, eventually he realized he was an idiot. He then started single-tap firing while ADS with The Last Word which isn't great ADS and is literally a full-auto trigger inherently. It was funny to see their fails. I don't expect that the actual devs spend a whole lot of time playing the game, but if they did a would love to see their live-stream, for Lol moments.

Does Bungo still make games they want to play? I think I see the problem here. You think they are actually making a game.
they ain't
-
Bungie doesn't play D2 lol
-
LEts face it. They are all paid to play the game a few hours a week. We have seen how in previous game play their own staff couldn't find the tree on a specific pvp map, or get lost doing things. These developers make games they can make money at. The days of making fun games they themselves want to play have long since passed.
-
I’m pretty sure they retired that slogan and now make games that expand our imagination or something useless
-
2 RespostasI'm sure they don't even play destiny at all, who wants to do chores that barely gives something?
-
Agree, this so sad I think bungo it’s a clowns company, he say we need money for content, you were directly told that there will be no more content in the game !! they don’t have the means…I don’t even hope for anything anymore….
-
They most likely do. Problem is: D2 has no realistic competition in this genre, so they dont feel the need to constantly innovate and no, Warframe is not gonna sweep D2. They're focusing hard on Marathon to essentially make up for the lack of a proper, or at least, functioning pvp experience that crucible couldn't deliver. How it turns out remains to be seen. The management is giving constant pressure to add more MTX stuff. What major game studio isnt? Revenue projects are always handed down from the top. Devs usually dont have a say on this. After almost a decade, they probably just wanna end the series. Realistically, the only best way to start course correcting the state of the game is to target a core issue: This is a pve game first. Crucible is just a by product. Same as Gambit. Warframe has it own pvp, Conclave, and that thing died faster than Christian Slater's career. The game can survive without pvp/gambit. Remove it entirely. They can keep some maps and rework them as specialized co-op missions. We dont need a narrative reason as to why they would be gone. Just remove them. Deleting them would reduce some stress on the game engine. If pvp players want a full pvp experience, then go play a game that was inherently designed to be a pvp game. One last thing: If you're unhappy with the state of the game: play something else. Some of ya'll MFers are wildin' treating this like some relationship and dumping your anger here. Act like grown @ss adults.

1 ResponderEditado por EventHorizon_16: 8/8/2023 8:24:36 PMThey've lost their ways. They made the game too much for end game users. The issue is that most people are not running raid, dungeons, trials and such. They devote far too much time to aspects of the game, most people don't play.
