This is my feelings about the game. D2 just isnt for me anymore. Havent played d2 in a month. Been waiting, like all, hoping that the glory days will return. Watching TDT's video, listening to d1 soundtrack in the background, made realise those days are gone and realised that games should never last this long.
Barebones as D1 was still had that thing that made it fun, gun play, lore and life long friends made. Grimore cards doesnt seem so bad now lol with all the lore redcons happening. D2 feels more like a community update than a vision for the game. Cant recall in D1 that the subclasses went through so much revisions as in d2. Subclasses outgrew the mechanics of the game lol
Exotics dont feel exotic in d2, d1 had its bad ones but still felt exotic yip necrocasm lol. Why does twilight garrison still have so much love mmmm? Even with exotic revisions still not worth playing with them.
Crafting last wish weapons broke me, made me think, i got these weapons in the vault, instead of designing cool ways to get it, a raid was turned into encounter farming bore fest. Stopped playing after that week.
Had so much more to say but would turn into mumbling.
D1 helped me through difficult times in my life, friends made. Thank you bungie, peace out.

1 ResponderThe best thing about Destiny 1 is I can sign on right now, play from beginning to end the entire journey with all DLC and areas and weapons and nothing is gone. It's fuccing criminal I can't play the base campaign this game launched with, and the following DLC I bought and played many times over. Because they were fun. The new people who came in to run things have done nothing but double down on Eververse because of the rat people who never go outside or shower supporting them without question. Morons only have yourselves to blame for the state this mess is in.

This business will pull out all their little cheap tactics as they did with LF and most will eat it up. This game has not nor will ever be worth the price tag put on it. 1, The development from 2014 is still being used. Nothing new has been added to the game in 4 years. 2, The reusing/recycling content has gotten out of control. 3, The grind in this game has no purpose other than to have you run the same activities hundreds of times, that by now most have run the same activities (((thousands of times))) only to have nothing to show for it other than wasted time spent. 4, The loot system is broken and the entire game is built around their broken RNG and trash shop. 5, There is no story to this game, it's just dead-end cutscene. I mean, 9 years and they don't even know if the Traveler is dead or alive. It's just, let's make things up as we go along🤦♂️ 6, 99.99% of the content in this game is dead. It is the most uninspiring work I have ever seen that 9 years later they tried bringing grappling and fishing into the game. That is what you call desperate knowing they don't have a clue on WTH they are doing. 7, The worst thing yet is knowing that they have been using the player base to fund their other projects instead of investing the money you guys give them into this game, and they left a tiny crew on this one. That's really messed up that you have been paying this business to work on Matter/Marathon and they have been lying to you that they will "Improve the game". When in fact they haven't since Activision left, they have only made matters worse.

I'm done with this season, have no desire to finish anything else up in it at all, heck have not even ran for the new scout rifle because its meh at best. The only thing I'll be doing between last week and the next season is a few bounties to give me that bump for next season artifact (heck even though I have maxed my artifact only 1 of my chars actually use all 12 available mods. I went from 2++ hours a day everyday since D1 day1, to I may play 4 hours this month period. Maybe

10 RespostasBungo too worried about pushing their far left political agenda. Even if they were right wing ect, idc.....keep it out of the game and just fix the freaking game. No one comes here for that nonsense

used to love this game, pretty much done with it now. bungies arrogance is astounding. will not be pre ordering final shape and will only buy it afterwards if its at least a 9/10 expansion.

Dont blame ya 1 bit👍🏾👍🏾

12 RespostasThe saddest thing about all this is that I know the Community is just going to magical forget about the state of the game and praise Bungie as soon as we get that Final Shape showcase in a few weeks.
-
2 RespostasIf you want to play something that is just damn good fun, then I suggest Remnant 2. I'm loving it so much.

5 RespostasFarewell Guardian, if our paths ever crossed I salute you. In exactly same boat my friend, uninstalled last week and moved on. Sad, but all things end. BDF still out in force in replies I see.

5 RespostasI’m almost there myself. I smashed my elite 2 controller because of garbage fraudulent comp matchmaking and garbage hit registration with bot team mates I purposefully played comp for like a week straight and started to pay close attention to every situation This mode is rigged 100%, the mode cheats it’s player base when running solo que. I bought a scuff instinct controller yesterday, logged on in the evening and then after 5 mins or so thought to myself, “there is nothing to even play for”. Shut it down. I’m glad I’m losing interest, may not even try Marathon

3 RespostasGood points and your right apathy has set in, most players are have the same sentiment that this game is in its down hill spiral. I mean when Aztecross is streaming on his twitch channel, banshees latest weapons and rolls; you just know it’s game over.

1 ResponderBungle seems determined to remove anything that's fun. They go out of their way to make things harder, more boring and less rewarding. Equipment lock makes me crazy. I work and work to get good weapons and armor and, when I need it the most, I can't make any changes. Why?! How does getting to use any weapon I like any time I like effect Bungle's bottom line? Why have hundreds of weapons and then be limited to three when the going gets tough? Loaded into the Neomuna weekly and forgot to change my grenade from grapple to manacle and had to start over. Why? Instead I just shut it off and felt good about not buying Marathon or anything else from Bungle.

Editado por Divine_Majin93: 8/2/2023 2:48:41 PM
D1 helped me through difficult times in my life, friends made. Thank you bungie, peace out.
I relate to your words more than you know. I am now 30, but as an awkward 21 year old, it really helped me stay grounded while I figured out what I wanted to do with my life. It also helped me reconnect with my old pals after we all fizzled out due to adjusting to life after high school. I still keep in touch with most of them and one of them served as the minister for my wedding. The Destiny product was the best hobby I ever had. I miss being able to farm exotics doing whatever I wanted (3oC). So many exotics make a mockery of the concept of exotic weaponry. I'm a nostalgic gamer so sunsetting content is a big bummer not to mention it makes it far more difficult to bring new friends to the game. Parts of D2 just feel so disjointed and honestly seem like a waste of Dev time/resources from the beginning (Lost Sectors). Most raid weaponry is mid at best which is also a disappointment considering the effort required. The absolute lack of genuine passion during the LF ViDoc hit me so hard I didn't even bother to buy LF. Can't say I regret it either. TFS is going to have to wow me so hard in order to get me to buy it. Waiting on that ViDoc is the only thing keeping me surfing these forums whining about the game. I wanna finish out the saga but between WoW Classic, OSRS, Remnant 2, Super Mario RPG remake, Don't Starve Together, Zelda TOTK, and Hogwarts Legacy, D2 is really showing me how lackluster its content has become in the face of both older and newer games. I want to give Bungie my money. But damn they don't deserve it.

Peace out bro…i feel the same im literally on the verge of crying…i came back to the game after a six month break and ive lasted 3 days and i feel soul destroyed already. I really need better will power to not keep falling for this and coming back, luckily microsoft rewards and a half price sale made the financial mistake a little more bearable…i think the biggest problem with destiny is its nearly 10 years old and ive been playing d1 launch…i cant even be bothered to rage any more as this game has got me so deflated.

4 RespostasI'm also like you. Stopped playing in April and last month uninstalled the game. I started playing on an Xbox 360 for the D1 Beta. Bungle's focus is not on Destiny or the players, the only thing they want is our money. There are better games out there that respect your playing time and have value for money. Personally, I can't wait to see Bethesda's StarField. I truly hope it doesn't follow down the Anthem, Andromeda ME, CyberPunk etc. buggy mess at launch BS.

1 ResponderI will see you back in final shape
