I’m tempted to go for Reddit. I like the forum format and being able to jump between different topics appeals to me.
I don’t know much about Discord, but it seems to be more like group chat, less like a forum.
I’ve tried Twitter a couple of times, but soon get fed up with it.
I have no interest in Facebook.

Gamefaqs Not all that different really, except people respect where topics belong just a wee bit more.

13 RespostasEditado por Machinimagames: 7/28/2023 3:33:44 AMI'll be honest this forum is it for me. The only reason i'm still here is because i'm a bungie fan. I joined this site when I was 11 turning 12 along with a ton of other forums like ubisoft and others. This one is the only one I stuck with. Honestly I don't really like forum culture. The older I got the more I realize it's starting to become a place even more so than before where people just come to complain. It was always like that but now they are way more mainstream. Way more negative. Once i'm done with bungie.net there will be no more forums for me. For now I will enjoy as I love bungie.

4 RespostasThe people I have enjoyed from this forum are in my life through some other means of social media or in person.

2 RespostasI’d go see a therapist, work on my anxiety for a while and then start saying yes to requests to meet up with friends. :)

5 RespostasI already use Reddit more often than this place, so...

1 ResponderImo discord is only “fun” when you are able to form a close group of online friends. Servers with 100+ feel too crowded. Reddit I’ve heard isn’t doing too well because of some changes to 3rd party support which makes QoL a nightmare for mods. Subreddits decided to shutdown due to mods’ reliance on 3rd party support.

1 ResponderI’d probably send out my Discord to those who want it, but that’s probably it. I’d be a bit sad, though, I like this place.
-
1 ResponderI’d just spend more time in Reddit. The randomthoughts sub is a good place for pointless ramblings.

3 RespostasEditado por Cultmeister: 7/24/2023 2:51:54 PMThe longest I’ve been away from here was about a year and a half and I didn’t really ‘go’ anywhere I just lived my life. If I was gonna go somewhere for discussions etc then it would probably be reddit. I’ve tried to get into Reddit before but could never quite make the jump, so maybe I would just not exist online. I don’t use social media at all these days. I have a Facebook and Snapchat acc because it’s the only way I can talk to specific people but I only use the DM part of both of those services. Never been into Instagram, Twitter, even YouTube has only had my real attention fairly recently.
