Why this season?
It's been in a terrible life support state forever now.
The sheep only just now start to riot because some big youtubers tell them that the game is in a bad state. People in this community have absolutely no ability to form their own opinion.
Bungie has been greedy ever since Activision dropped them. They have added more and more layers of monetization while quality went downhill constantly. Obviously at rising prices.
So what exactly makes this season special? Server issues? Happened last season aswell. Boring cringe story drip feeds? Happened for the last 10 seasons. Poor quality in general? Happened since 2019. Zero effort put into pvp? Been a thing since 2019 when they shifted the pvp team away from D2. Reissues everywhere? Been a thing since D1.
Mind blowing how this community hasn't been mad at Bungie for all those years... Only took a big youtuber to wake them up LOL

I remember when scourge of the past came out and I said seasons were -blam!-... People attacked me saying how wrong I was, now I see those same people making posts how terrible the seasonal model is because YouTuber said so 🤣

To be fair, the seasonal model that included Black Armory, Joker’s Wild, and Opulence was fairly different from what we have now. Frankly, I think it’s completely valid to think those original three seasons were good and to not agree with you calling them bad while still having issues with the current seasonal model.

It you like that model, great, I don't. Just let me burn through the content then do what I want to do which used to be grind guns to use inside of PvP.. but PvP was left to die years ago.. so now I grind guns then play other games 🤣

You're not entirely wrong. But it takes a streamer, who does share a lot of the same criticisms we all have, to just make the community pop off more. And get the attention of other "influencers" (god I hate that word) to also give attention to the state of the game. Which, in a way, is good. Cause it reminds everyone we should speak our mind. So I'll give him that credit at least. Also, I don't think it should be THIS SEASON specifically. I think next season will be just as bad and people will think that ones worse. Just an overall negative progression with D2.
