We have way too many exotics that are literally just catching dust in our vaults. Every time I get an exotic it's always ophdia on my hunter. An you know I really wanna be like he'll yeah this is amazing. But instead I'm like whelp more legendary shards. The problem we have right now with exotics right now is the same we have with tier 10 resilience...you feel like you have to have tier 10 and you feel like you must wear certain exotics to either be meta or hell to even be playable. I know you're fixing resilience which gives me hope that were heading in the right direction because feeling like you "have to" use certain exotics to have any playability or fun for that matter. Is in fact not fun. So please make our exotics fun and interchangeable for fun and diversity. Remember "Meta spells boring" XD

dont listen to this dolt keep making new exotics

1 ResponderBring back Icebreaker!!!
-
I think the sole reason they don’t is so they can justify sales with new exotics
-
3 RespostasI agree with ya. There's a lot of Titan exotics that just aren't useful at all or have been nerfed into a paper weight.
-
They've redone a bunch multiple times and they're still useless.
-
2 Respostaswhy not both? i feel like every season they should rework a couple of exotics that are "under performing", 3 or so armor pieces (at least 1 per class) and 2 or so weapons. could even be small things like giving scorch to sunshot etc.
-
I believe they can manage doing both at the same time.
-
They simply don't have a deep enough game to support the amount of exotics we have. You're simply just arguing for them to buff artwork you like better.
-
"Please stop making new content and rework old content"
-
no one makes you keep them NO ONE
-
Op in season of the deep: Stop reworking old exotics and make new ones

1 ResponderSome ideas I had: Apotheosis Veil - Insatiable - Orbs of power grant additional super energy, and picking up orbs of power grants additional Grenade, melee, and class ability energy. Casting your super drains energy from your fully charged abilities to instantly restore your health, grant an overshield, and increase your weapon damage when your super ends. (1 ability = health, 2 = overshield, 3 = 15s of Blessing of the Sky/Lumina Buff) Sanguine Alchemy - Blood Magic - replaces rift with blood sacrifice. Sacrifice a portion of your health to gain increased damage, weapon handling speed, and reload speed. Kills while active cure you. Health is limited to 1/2 base health (not shields) rounded down while effect is active. Mask of the Quiet One - Dreaded Visage - Gain melee energy when taking damage, gain 2x for damage taken while under a void buff. Defeating targets with void abilities grants volatile rounds for a short time. Eternal Warrior - Gain Increased strength and resilience while enemies are in close proximity (10 per enemy within 15m, stacks 5x). Juggernaut Shield takes reduced damage from combatants and you gain an overshield during an arc super cast. Sealed Ahamkara Grasps - Nightmare Fuel - gain an additional melee charge. Melee hits reload your equipped weapon. Melee hits grant a large AE bonus for 7 seconds. Knucklehead Radar - Upgraded Sensor Pack - Provides Radar while aiming and improves Radar resolution and range. Combatants within 15m deal reduced damage and grant dodge energy when killed. (-20% combatant damage, 10% class ability energy. Class ability energy still works in PvP) Just some armchair dev ideas.

6 RespostasNo land Beyond Icebreaker Patience and Time Tlaloc And all the adept raid exotics too
-
6 RespostasEditado por The Hermit IX: 2/20/2023 7:01:52 PMYou have to understand that if they stopped making new exotics there would be a massive backlash from the community. This where Bungie has to do what they feel is best for the long term health of D2. They will never make everyone happy.
-
One of the best looking warlock exotics is completely useless, I’m talking about the sanguine. I would really love to see an overhaul on that one, being able to extend a rift for one second for every kill just sucks so bad when we have another exotic that literally does the same exact thing and still provides more buffs to nearby allies without having to leave the rift.
-
They should have in place that for every new exotic they introduce they should rework that many older exotics that have become useless or unused
-
3 RespostasThe game is quite playable below 10 resil. 40% damage reduction is so extreme it goes from crutch to security blanket. You can do GMs at 8 or 9 You can do raids at 5 or 6 Only place I’d make sure about 10 resil would be master raid stuff while under level. Even then 8 and thumbs would be fine. Glad resil is getting a rework.
-
2 RespostasOh don't worry about the resilience. Pretty soon the game is going to get more "challenging" and resilience is getting nerfed. So if you felt like you HAD to have it to survive, now you're not going to survive, and can't build into more resilience.
-
I feel ya but no we need new exotics.
-
I didn't expect to get so much discussion on this thread but I love the fact that players are engaged in this discussion, because shows me and everyone reading that we care about our game, and if you agree or disagree that's just as great because discussion and debating breeds news ideas from where we go from here. I do hope bungir will actually read this but thank all of you have taken the time to give your opinions.
-
I didn’t expect to agree with you when I saw the title, but you make really great points.

This is a looter shooter with years under its belt. What you're saying is blasphemy in the looter shooter World.

1 ResponderEditado por ravenRedwake: 2/20/2023 6:52:01 PMThat smg from this previous season is kinda -blam!-. I was like “uhhhh so it suspends me in the air, after they’ve made it abundantly clear with airborn effectiveness that they don’t want us in the air?” It could at least have been an exotic version of the recluse but better (catylist makes it so when you get volitile rounds against combatants it has explosive rounds)
-
Do both? 😂
-
Editado por The Worm Keeper: 2/20/2023 7:30:36 PMI couldn't agree more with you. In fact, I have made three videos explaining the changes I would make to these exotics. Let me know what y'all think of the changes as well. 7 RespostasThe problem is bungie has made a shift from awesome exotics to meh exotics because they are trying to avoid the "must have X exotic to join" lfg posts. Also most new exotics focus on either adding ease of use to builds or they require lots of builds to be decent.
