I like watching different PVP streamers to learn things to improve but that doesn’t mean everything they say is valid. In their case they want CBMM in 6v6 to help make their content creating easier. They try to play rumble now instead of control. The second Bungie adds a 6v6 that’s CBMM like clash, you won’t hear a peep about control being SBMM. I like Cross but he is doing what’s in his best interest for content not PVP in general.

I blocked Aztec the moment he whined about SBMM... along with several other top streamers. Funny, but now I get 2-5th tier streamer videos on the feed, which I like a lot better. They don't whine about SBMM, and they actually have some good videos - that do a better job of teaching. I don't learn a thing watching Aztec, et al... it got to be disgusting watching him mow down one noob after another for 10-12 minutes... till SBMM arrived, then he had to actually earn his keep. If I had to guess... it'll all go back to CBMM once the new DLC drops in January. I'm not buying anything more from Bungie till I see what happens. Hoping I'm wrong.

Lmao I'm sure he is so hurt. Oh my I actually am laughing too. Is that the only power that you wield ?

You don't though. I come here for entertainment to laugh at people. When I leave no thoughts given. I think humanity is rather curious.

I say they should return it to the PvP menu that Shadowkeep had Aka Control and Survival are SBMM Has classic mix playlist that’s variety gamemodes that are CBMM Weekly gamemode that’s CBMM Then trials and banner were CBMM I thinkkk

I couldn’t agree more. It’s so much fun to play and not have every match a stack of 8.0 taking advantage of players that aren’t anywhere as good to pad they’re KDs. They simply don’t belong in control against low level players. Since they switched it to SBMM. I haven’t received any toxic messages either. Isn’t that telling as well.

Editado por Mark, Scholar of Stars: 11/15/2022 4:00:13 PMThe charts, at the end of his video got my attention. I always like to know both sides. That's how I form my opinions and the more (sides: opinions), the better.
-
Well if he’s so sure he should be streaming another game already. I watched the video when was released and I’m positive he will be doing videos on Destiny for a long time. The game isn’t going anywhere.
-
Of course not, but it's a trend. We'll see how this will continue. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the complains will continue. It wasn't the same last year. Apart from that, we live in difficult times, people are more sensitive and less tolerant. ...and even if I'm dissapointed, I really hope to "see" Lightfall next year - good or bad.

Editado por The Hermit IX: 11/15/2022 4:43:42 PMTo me this happens every year at this time. There were countless posts about how WQ would be bad and was all hype. Canceled preorders yada yada yada. Same stuff again like every single year. Players here were bashing Forsaken before and during the DLC. It’s absurd and this forum is absolutely not an accurate measuring stick of where the game is. They have issues to address but the game isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
-
Interesting. I experienced the opposite last year with The Witch Queen: people were excited.
-
Understandable financial interests. Lobby work like in every industry.
-
Exactly and it’s slow right now for them. Khackis apologized for his video about numbers seeing they were wrong. They need to generate views in the slowest part of their year. Numbers are the new videos, warlock numbers, trials numbers NF game numbers etc are the new thing.
-
Indeed. And it is easy on social media to exaggerate or distort both data and perception. Most vocal ones are not always representing the silent majority.
-
They changed control. One mode was changed to stop farming and pub stomps of newbs and average players. SBMM has helped me get better in PVP and I find it absurd how much crying has gone on over the switch on one mode.
-
Do you honestly not see the hypocrisy in this? There was SBMM in the game. People didn't want to play that mode. Don't feed it gabe...
-
I respect that you’re a solid PVP player but I disagree about this. What they tried 3 years ago and how it failed isn’t applicable today. The difference with adept and crafted weapons, builds and the ability spam isn’t what you faced to improve in PVP. New lights and low level players have an impossible learning curve to improve unless they’re being carried by clan members. The 6 stacks of high level players pub stomping players to the point they stopped playing PvP was counter productive. I’m not sure what the answer is but clearly what was happening wasn’t conducive of growing the population and bringing in new players. That’s why they’ve tried SBMM again. My wait times in CBMM is longer, the lag is identical and matches are incredibly bad with being balanced.

Editado por Shatterday: 11/15/2022 11:53:23 PMYou can disagree all you want... Doesn't change the fact, that when Control was CBMM, people had an SBMM mode to play. You literally made a post arguing how streamers are crying about 1 game mode...... Edit - to be clear. I've always said there should be a New Light queue...
-
I don’t care what it is but there needs to be a mode that’s 6v6 with SBMM for players to improve. Right now that’s control.
-
It was the same last time two or three years ago? I am pretty sure streamers and vocal elitist minority will be successful again and rather sooner than later Bungie will buckle. Catering to the hardcore best players and providing endless cannon fodder and easy kill streaks for streamers. I have little hope we, the vast majority benefitting from SBMM, will succeed long term. But until then - I will enjoy.
-
Yeah I think it should stay in control for sure. They simply don’t like playing against players on their level. That’s the argument they use to why it’s not good for the average player. We aren’t being challenged but sone how they are and they don’t like it.
-
Streamers' interests are obvious. They are living from videos with high numbers of likes and views. Spectacular kill streaks pretending they are living gods - which they are in comparison to weak/average players - are difficult when playing on par with other good players. Here in the forums I assume players having had high stat numbers and now experiencing lower stat numbers feel betrayed about their vested right.
-
What I find hysterical is players that bash streamers on these forums are posting streaker videos.

I am not always sure whether I talk to adults here. Though adult does not necessarily translate into reasonable.
