It seems odd that last wish and garden have been skipped to add weapon crafting to Deep Stone Crypt when these raids could also use weapon crafting? Especially considering target farming for weapons from last wish is ridiculously difficult due to there being no weapons tied to any specific encounter. Player numbers being what they currently are and continuing to dwindle, it seems as though Bungie give little regard to what people want and seem content to just continue to just milk the remaining player base as opposed to attempting to retain or bring new players in. Surely it isn’t some monumental task to add weapon crafting to all older raid weapons as well as adding enhanced perks to all adept weapons?

They looked at weapon usage and amount of raids played i think. Loads of people use the DSC shotgun and sniper. And if they added VoG or last wish or garden then we would have still only 1 HC archetype craftable. DSC gives us the first craftable high impact sniper and first craftable 180 HC and the first craftable aaptive MG and the first craftable rapid fire frame scout.

Yeah, why not.

Absolutely

1. The DSC weapons are just better with more (than none) unique perks. 2. The only raid without crafting not tied to a paid DLC is VoG. 3. No, it's not super easy to add a vendor to raids without one, add the mechanic of a guaranteed deepsight weapon once a week and a mechanic to make that happen similar to KF and Vow (because you know it would be the first complaint), make and tune enhanced perks, then add them to adept weapons as well. They chose DSC because it's already got a vendor and the weapons are popular and still relevant. The only other argument right now would be VoG, which would've been cool too I guess, but personally I'm glad to have DSC before it. More weapons I'll personally use. VoG would just be me crafting Fatebringer and Found Verdict and calling it a day as opposed to DSC where I'll want the shotgun, sniper, HC, and scout. That's all subjective though.

5 RespostasLast Wish and Garden of Salvation are both Raids accessed through ownership of paid-for-content (the Forsaken Pack and Shadowkeep DLC respectively) just like Deep Stone Crypt, so citing them as counter examples doesn’t really support the argument that DSC was chosen to coerce people into making a purchase. For that you would want to cite Vault of Glass, the only free to play Raid without craftable weapons. (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)

I feel like the DSC weapons are more popular. That and it had 6 weapons. I think last wish had more. And people don't really like GoS There's also that DSC is the oldest raid with buyable weapons at the end to guarantee one per week so it would be more work to add that to the older raids.
