Editado por Xero: 11/11/2022 11:22:20 AMNever? Well I'd say it's worth giving a try... Information is in the spoilers on what might be considered "important". This is an "information overload" to an extent, so take time reading this. This doesn't have to be 100% understood from the get go. About the mode:
It's a race. Shoot enemies. Collect what they drop (motes). Deposit them in a "bank" in the middle of the map. 100 motes deposited successfully summons a boss (Primeval). Kill that before the enemy team does, and you win. Sounds simple enough, right?
The twist:
Invade the opposing team, and engage them in a potential 1v4. Both teams can do this. A portal near the bank will be available to jump through when active. Down an enemy Guardian when invading? They drop all their motes. One can hold 15, at most. Teammates can pick up some of the dropped motes to mitigate things. A single well-timed invasion can turn things around in a game. When a Primeval is up, an invader that downs an enemy Guardian restores some health to the Primeval. Depositing motes also summons taken enemies to the enemy team (blockers). Blockers close off the bank until they are defeated. Having two or more blockers summoned on the enemy team triggers a "bank drain" where the affected team slowly loses motes deposited, and they transfer to the enemy team. This will continue until there are 1, or no blockers remaining. Three types of blockers: 5 motes deposited = Small 10 motes deposited = Medium 15 motes deposited = Large Each have their own abilities. Engage them when playing, and figure out where and how one might want to utilize them. If falling behind a "High Value Target" can appear (catch up mechanic). Kill that for a good number of motes, and a heavy ammo brick. Remember, that the enemy team can also do all of this. Strategy and planning will help as one figures things out...
Primeval Time!
So the Primeval is up. What now? Kill it! Kill it fast! Primeval's are immune when summoned, initially. Got to get rid of that shield. How? There are taken wizards (envoys) that will spawn in other areas of the map. Kill them, and the Primeval is vulnerable to damage. After a set amount of damage is done, the shield is back up, and the envoys respawn elsewhere. Rinse and repeat, until death of Primeval. The team slowly gets a buff over time as envoys are getting killed called "Primeval Slayer". Same with the enemy team when they summon theirs. As far as I know, it lets you do more damage to the Primeval and caps out at x10. Beware of invaders along the way. This is the critical moment where anything can happen. The enemy team can still send blockers over if you summoned first and they are catching up.
About the maps
Few maps, but playing repetitively will grant map awareness, eventually. Guardians have their own spawn location near the bank. The bank represents the "center" of the map. Enemies spawn in three potential spots that rotates when all enemies are killed. Note: Heavy ammo spawns after a wave of enemies is killed off. Don't forget to pick up that ammo. Save for an invader, or use it for a quick wipe of enemies. Choice is yours. One map has rotating conveyors to move around quickly, while the others generally have a "teleport spot" to travel between the two farthest enemy spawn areas. Remember this when navigating...might save time, or your held motes...
Recommendations:
As far as weapons go, the general recommendations would be: Use whatever weapons allows you to kill the enemies the fastest. Or if you prefer invading consistently: Use whatever gives you "easy kills", in a nutshell.
Try to have fun when playing. Everyone has an opinion of this, and you won't know if you like the mode until you try. Going into the regular matchmaking has a "higher chance" of being match made against a prepared Fireteam. Maybe start with Freelance, depending on the approach. Hope this helps. Happy Gambit...ing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hmm, not sure I have any advice... except that when your in a group of bad guys, having a glaive is helpful for stabbing them, and it is also pretty helpful against the envoys, though also risky cause you have to get so close to them. And once you play some Gambit, can you tell me which one you think is better, Gambit or Crucible?

Awareness matters if you don’t want to feed the invaders kills.
-
Don't play is solid advice 🤣
-
lol thats not good advice
-
LMAO it is trust me you'll know with time
-
Nah, I would say the same about Crucible. Gambit forever!!!!!!!!
