I leave a match primarily because the Anti-cheat failed.

3 RespostasEh, this is a complex topic =/ While I'm sure that Bungie's decision to put a Leaver Penalty in Quikcplay has reasons behind, I can't say I'm in favour of it. Leaving Penalty made my Quickplay Experience definetely better, expecialy the fact that I'm not pull in already started matches all the time is a bless. However the system has still leaks: in this period Errors are very common. I got Baboon/Weasel codes two times, luckily not one after the other, but In a longer PvP Session this could happen and I could be banned for no reason like it happened to other players. Also, connection errors can cause a temporary ban. This should be fixed ASAP. Also the necessity to put a Leavers Penalty in Quickplay is a clear evidence of how the Quickplay-Competitive System in D2 doesnt work =/ and I have no idea if it will ever.

Depends, I observed the same people leaving due to their kd . I understand when you are getting ploughed but is a learning curve . In this day and age preppie want easy as soon as it gets hard ….bail .
-
You should never get punished for leaving a quickplay match. If it's comp or trials, I can understand the penalty, but in quickplay? That's just dumb.
-
6 RespostasAgreed. Quitter penalties don’t belong in a casual game mode. Which is why the pvp population is dying off again.
-
I leave a match primarily because the Anti-cheat failed.
I wouldn’t stress, I got stomped one game then clapped the following 4 games and I have a semi-decent KD so I wouldn’t worry about SBMM.
-
3 RespostasAnd you shouldn't punish players for leaving.

4 RespostasEditado por TwelveBz: 10/10/2022 6:29:48 PMThe non pvp mains think it’s amazing But Why should I suffer being put in a match that’s half over or already has a mercy ruling in affect or vsing a full stack team? I leave matches still but when the penalty goes into affect I quit the game and just go to valorant, apex or overwatch.
-
3 RespostasYou are looking at it wrong, they are doing you a favor. When you get suspended for playing how you want just go download Overwatch 2, it is free and fun.
-
20 RespostasYou’re a 0.71 overall in PvP. You’re not losing to “cheaters.” You’re losing to better players.
-
I could care less about sbmm vs cbmm but I’m all for a quitter penalty. I think it should be increased to be honest. Add in a penalty to reduce the next pinnacle engram to a powerful 2 and temporarily drop the artifact power level by 1 for the day per penalty’s accumulated through the day.
-
4 RespostasYes you should be punished for leaving matches. I’m glad they put it in to make players accountable. Disrupting matches to try to get it switched back to CBMM isn’t acceptable.

Anti cheat working fine

8 RespostasAnd you leave meaning your team mates get a guaranteed loss because they are a man down. Then if the matchmaking system brings someone else in they get a loss. And if you are correct and someone was "cheating" did you report them? The current system is there as a deterrent to stop the unsporting conduct of people leaving if it is disabled then others would leave for petty reasons again.
-
What? In such a case you won't just leave, you'll get banned and spend weeks proving that anti-cheat had a false positive
-
4 RespostasThis is some odd logic....... Are you running your own version of anti-cheat and are able to detect cheaters better than Bungie?
-
Yes we should
-
i thought it was smart to do that, because it wouldn't be fare for your teammates when you leave especially if you were the better player playing against players that are better than your team. you leaving would leave the other team to wipe the floor with them. that is not a admirable characteristic to fight along.
-
I leave a match because m teammates suck. And im rather wait 30min than playing with people that make the game unfun to play.
-
1 ResponderYou shouldn’t be punished for occasionally leaving a match, repeatedly though, you should know what to expect yet still decide to play that joke of a PvP experience
-
Simple. Stay in match and let one person be inconvenienced,or leave and inconvenience two.
-
You should actually be for a week if it's multiple times. I have lost so many matches because one of my cry baby teammate leaves because they suck and the lobby locks us in at 5v6. 🤣🥲
-
2 RespostasBut there is a good reason why for that option though in most online games It's because of the rage quitters that don't get their way and literally will fail everyone else during a match
-
How about don't leave matches?
-
Wouldn't be a problem. Just. Finish what you start.
